wasabi 0
Well, my Saiga 12 is on the way. Can't wait to get it. I also ordered two 12rd Surefire mags and an extra Saiga 5rd mag. I've been stocking up on ammo for my other guns and want to start for the Saiga also. What's a good SD/range ammo that won't break the bank? I was thinking 00 buck is the way to go. Thanks for any advice.

Use search, I believe there is a thread with ammo suggestions. I've used cheap Federal and Remington Slugger ammo with no problems. Oh .. per the 12-round mags, if you use them with a stock S12, you are in violation of section 922®, make sure you read the laws very carefully before f*ing around with that stuff. wasabi 0
Thanks for the reply, I did a search and couldn't find a definitive thread. Maybe I'll pickup some Federal value packs from WalFart to start out. Thanks for the heads-up on the 922 as well.
BobAsh 582
Go to the Tromix website (link in my sigline), and click on "Saiga Service Tips". There are some suggestions in there.
