Just about finally done (famous last words). I am very happy with the way my saiga feels, now all I need to do is to burn a few hundred rounds through her! I think that in the near future I will replace the rear sight/front sight (maybe), add a POSP scope with side mount (after X-Mas), and when spring comes, will probably strip her down and duracoat the metal in magpul earth. Time will tell on that. Also, there is too much slack in the trigger pull, so I will work on that as well. Didn't like the commie sling, and decided to go with what I know, a M16A2 sling (belive they are called M1 slings). Semper Fi and be safe!

What front handguard is that you swapped to? UTG?

Yes, it is the extended one. I stripped it and painted OD, then baked it in the oven. Turned out great (IMO), and seems to be rock solid.
