Good god that's sweet. I'm still looking for a draco pistol. I even went to my favorite gun store to see if they'd be my ffl go to guys when i order one. They didn't want to hook me up dicks. So i'm stuck for a while i guess. Nice shootin' hops.

I was about to say "still looking, what, Classic's out?".. and then I read the rest of your post. What kind of assholes run your local gun store? I'd look around for another FFL who isn't a damn Fudd.

+1 on what Post-A said though. Find a better FFL. I guess I am lucky too with my FFL. He doesn't give a shit what it is, and he charges very little. Plus I get to support the little guy businesses. Of course I woke up 3 hours early and drove for 4 hours strait to get my Draco before I had to go to work on that Friday. It's nice to have J&G close enough to drive there, but far enough to where it better be worth it. Otherwise I might be even more poor every paycheck.

Where I live, 75% of the people that work at gun stores are assholes!

They think that you should be kissing their ass right when you walk in the door.

They act like they came up with a cure for cancer or some shit because they are so GREAT!

And if you ask a question, they look at you like "What a fuckin' stupid question!"

Like a person off the street should know EVERYTHING about EVERY gun.

Post-a I wouldn't say i'm still "looking" i've actually found what the hell im looking for...I can see it every day on a web page along with a little counter that says "number in stock" that keeps dropping . I just can't find a way to frikkin purchase it. It's like having sex and not getting off...i can see the goal, just can't get there . The problem is, as rifle describes, arrogant pricks. The guys here are usually nice, if they stock the gun. When i went in and asked about one, they just kept asking why i would want a draco, in a tone that would lead you to believe that i would contract aids immediately after purchase. When they realized i wasn't changing my mind they decided to check if they could order one from their supplier. When the supplier didn't have any they went back to the, "why would you want to own something like that" line of questioning. Douchebags.

Back on topic though.

The video is great and i have a couple of questions. What kind of trigger guard is on the 12? The sound of the draco and s12 seem about the same in the video, no doubt due to the camera not being able to handle the noise...which is louder? The next one is a three parter: Have you considered sbr-ing the draco, and if so, can you email me pictures of how much god damn fun you're having shootng it so that i can live vicariously through you since i can't seem to be able to f#cking get one??!!

The trigger guard is a Tac47 guard I believe. I got a complete conversion kit from them a while back and finally got an S12 a couple months ago.

The Draco is louder with the 74 brake on it, but no brake and it is as loud as every other AK I have shot. But the S12 seems to be a whole other sound that is pretty loud too. I would have to say the Draco if for no other reason than the barrel is closer to your head.

I am thinking about SBRing her one day, but not sure when. I need a lot more ammo and other stuff so hopefully this coming up year I can get that done. My buddy in the vid is planing on SBRing his too so I might post some pics/vids of that one(which will probably make me have to SBR mine). If your ever on this side of the country, feel free to stop by and we can go blow shit up.

I don't have many left leaning friends so that might be kinda difficult. But There was a guy and his girlfriend out there shooting a Walther P22 and I let him try it out. Then some douche bags showed up and we all decided to split. The one guy was cool though, he let me shoot his AR.

^ Pretty badass, Rich. I'd never seen a .308 pistol fired before. Looks like a lot of fun; if you can keep the receiver from beating the hell out of your face while trying to aim it.

The Draco's flash from hopping1's vid actually looks larger than that of the .308. That's partly camera angle and lower lighting conditions, but I think that the 74 type muzzle brake also has a lot to do with it. With a 74 brake on my 16" SGL, the muzzle flash is almost as intense, (and more well defined, 2 distinct bursts o flame from the sides, 1 larger one out front).

You should get some video of fun with the Vector 51 outside at dusk/dark.

I'm with PoAp... i have no idea how to operate a camera let alone post anything on youtube. As soon as i figure it out though it's on. I don't think i'll have a metal song playing in the background like hops, i'll do something different, maybe "afternoon delight" or conway twitty or something that makes you think i'm completely off my rocker. Hehe well this is true but I think about the only AK I dont have is a Draco Have a SGL21 and 20 and countless home built Romy G kits bout the only thing thats missing is a nice Draco or I could not buy christmas for any one and get anouther SGL21 and Draco ?

I think I'm going out again this weekend(bulk packs have never been so fun to shoot) and I should be able to get more footage and another vid. Plus I just got an MD20 so my shit eating grin is about to wrap completely around my head
