yeh, they appropriated the metal in october of 2001, during the "investigation".


glad to see that it launched, finally. I am sorry I wasnt there to see it off, personally.


that ship has big teeth. if it shows up, the USA means business. It wouldnt surprise me if they drove it over to the indian ocean and fired a single cruise missle off of it into afghanistan or pakistan, just to make the point.


I dont know the design of the ship, but it is my understanding that the metal from the WTC is what cuts the water in this ship, and is also part of the keel. from the article, it sounds as if they used part of it in the stern, to sit the props, or to drive the vessel and give it purpose.


I hope it is used to drop the bomb on bin asshole's head, when the time comes, or his funeral.

I wish I had the money to personaly fly into NYC for the day and see this ship off. May it go fast and far and not see harm come to it.....
