At the same time some of America's finest are putting their asses on the line to "preserve our way of life", Jorge is handing over the keys to anybody willing to wade a shallow river and take 'em. He should be ashamed that his corporate friends mean more to him than brave, loyal, American lives.

I'm waiting to see the result of some National Guardsmen, who all had careers in the private sector (not to mention LIFES!) return home, supposedly to their "protected" jobs, only to find that they have been taken by some monolingual illegal immigrants willing to do the jobs for half the wage. And they can't get their jobs back.
Do you think Jorge will suddenly change direction at that point, and decide that maybe representing the American citizens who elected him will be more important than selling out to the Corporate interests?

I agree with all of you. God bless President Bush for waging the war on terror overseas. Now, it's time to heed the OVERWHELMING majority of citizens and actually secure our borders! Support the American people from foreign invasion (likely including Al Queda), instead of listening to libs and big business! Fight for the people here at home, when the US is gone there is NO OTHER replacement!

Bush is way too liberal for me but he beats the alternative by a million light years. I will support the President in time of war no matter who he is because I don't believe you can support the troops without supporting the mission as well. We make our collective decision at the ballot box and when that decision has been made it's time to unite. Half of our "fellow" Americans can't do that anymore and I have no use for those people whatsoever. The Bush bashing is fucking ridiculous. The misplaced blame over Katrina and WMDs in the face of so much easily obtained information makes me sick. The lack of critical thinking being exhibited by my countrymen is appalling to say the least. Bush lied. What a load of crap. In that case EVERYONE lied. And Katrina? OMFG!!!! WTF is wrong with people? The Feds including Bush personally pleaded with Blanco and Nagin to evacuate the city but they blew them off until it was too late and never followed the evacuation plan that posted on the New Orleans website for God's sake. Since when are the Feds your first responders? Anyone ever heard of the Posse Comitatus Act? It's just unbelievable how inane propaganda that makes no common sense to anyone that's ever taken a decent civics class is swallowed whole by the masses.
