Still in committee .....no seizure of guns by LEO during declared state of emergency. Of coarse there is allready some crying fowl because in present form penelties(radical idea there) are applied to LEO that break the law. Damn...what good is a law without penelty of violation of said law. Of coarse no mention is made of National Guard....so its really a 'for show" law anyway.

Sounds good to me... in a SOE situation, I'll start shooting people who try to violate me or my family, regardless if they're behind a badge or not. Fuckers.

Seizing weapons during an emergency has got to be the stupidest thing the federal or local gov could possibly do.
Any small step (even if purely 'for show') to prevent seizure is a definitely a good thing. Hopefully other states will follow suit.

Hand over your guns- bullets first! No wait-we no longer have the right to defend ourselves, ESPECIALLY from the government!
Confiscation is the most UN-AMERICAN thing I ever heard of. The founding fathers took it for granted that we each have the right to defend ourselves and family.
You can kill a person while they are defending their right-but you cannot take the right away, That can only be GIVEN!

How right you are GOB! And that right was God given. No man or government has the right to take away our right to self defense. Government forgot a long time ago, who works for who. Unfortunately, a "reminding" is close at hand.
