Some good news in light of the fact that something like H.R. 1022 is being brought up in Congress.

Maybe we should start spreading Saiga flyers all over DC. smile.gif

Now lets just see if any CRIME statistics go UP or DOWN... That will be the KEY PROOF !!!!

Holy crap, they finally did it. Gotta give it some time though, as almost everyone is starting from scratch. Hopefully someone will schedule a fun show in town sometime soon. Talk about perfect opportunity to sell your wares!

First, DC. Next, THE U.S.!!!!!

We are apparently successfull in stopping the new AWB here in Maryland. There is even a outside chance we may have our CCW rights restored!

We just have to be as vocal against a proposed "assault ammo" tax of 5 cents a round to individually serialized and database every bullet in Maryland. Any ammo for a regulated weapon, which is pretty much ALL AMMO.

Since ammo manufacturers wouldn't go to the expense, it would be a defacto ban on ammo in the state.

Yeah, now is the time to be an activist. I think the big vote is on Thursday the 15th. I'll be in disbelief until these Bills actually become the law, but so far it's better than I'd have thought possible. Good link for staying on top of MD gun issues:

Holy shit what an exercise in stupidity!

How the hell do you serialize EVERY bullet? And each "regulated" firearm most likely has a non-semi counterpart in the same caliber. WTF???

And the guy that brought this up has a Ph.D?

Wow...I don't know whether to laugh in disgust or puke in disgust...maybe I'll do both.

In NJ they are trying to pass a bill requiring you to bring proof of ownership for a firearm before they will allow you to buy the ammo for that firearm. Apparently, there is nothing stopping criminals from buying ammo. I guess what THOSE particular geniuses haven't realized is that the criminals are apparently getting hold of firearms regardless of all the assinine laws they've put in place....go figure.
