Did you guys change anything with the forum tonight? The reason I ask is cause this is how my page is displayed now. It used to be that I could see every post on the one page, but now I have to click on each separate reply to view it. Anyone else's like this? huh.gif

BTW: I'm using Safari as a browser on a Mac.
Bvamp
are you running a low-fi version of the forum? like, WHAT DID YOU CLICK? smile.gif

sounds like something on your end, really. Im not sure what I can do for you with the admin access I have, but if you cant figure it out, Ill try and take a look at your member account and see what I can see in there.

Check your "options" on the right side of the page. Go down to "standard" on the list. That should fix it.
Bvamp
wait wait I see it.

the top of the thread. upper right corner of the top post.

options - set to standard.
Bvamp
yeh, what mike said.

Thanks tech support!

And I didn't even have to call someone in India to not get something resolved!
Bvamp
actually, im going to go with the outline setting, myself.

I still have not gone through and clciked every control on here. I have enough to screw with with the admin control panel. you should see what I can pull up smile.gif very cool stuff, good software. the boss chose well.
micah360
That's what I was on... outline. I didn't like that at all!
Bvamp
just ask for the level 3 helpdesk. I found an error in the design of one of dell's chips a few years back and the level two desk in india said they were sending me to the "holier than holy" desk, which I already knew from running thier mainframes at IBM was in austin. LOL boy was THAT guy surprised when i told him where he worked.

When I first signed up my screen was automatically in the outline mode, a few months later it switched to standard by itself. It tackes longer to read topics in the outline mode because you have to click each thread.

That's good to know. I don't have to call that often, but when I do and it's a chick in India that I can hardly understand...... mad.gif

I used to work for Compaq tech support back in college. It sucked bad... so I do have some sympathy, but when they're in a totally different country!?! Cheap fucking labor!
Bvamp
thats odd. the dummy user account I made to help fix the issue with the for sale forums and contributers came up by default to standard mode....

hey, did they ever add more buttons to the mac's mouse, or is it still one button? smile.gif

Id offer you a few thousand programs to do anything you need, but well, they aint for macs.... HAD ta get that in there.

I hate that one button mouse! I have a normal mouse set-up with the right and left click. I have a PC too (I was raised on a PC) but never use it. I have 23" apple flat screen on the mac and it's a dual processor 2.7 Ghz with 4GB of ram. Now why would I use the PC when I have that to look at pretty Saiga's on?
Bvamp
I have five machines sitting right in front of me, all of which are on my network at home. I have a 486 "black box" (im sure you know what that is, and yes, I can stop the cpu and step it through each tick) hooked up, all the way up to a 3ghz with an extremely clear high-res flat panel. none of them are macs. smile.gif and I do do audio production on two of them, FYI.

Im nowhere NEAR as bad as I once was with the computer addiction, either, if you can believe that one.
micah360
no wonder you don't have a tv!
Bvamp
I need a high clarity/hig res projection monitor, is what I need.
