I'm looking for some Walnut for a thumbhole project, Google turns up a bunch of stuff, but I was wondering if anyone here has a place they would recomend. I'm not looking for anything to fancy, just nice, and I don't really feel like buying 30+ bf either. Anyone?

I've made "blank" furniture that has the connection points and inletting doen for the Saiga but is otherwise a block for the buyer to shape as he desires.

Numerich, Sarco, ect. have good deals on off the wall stocks, sometimes even rough blanks. I don't think you could get a thumbhole out of one, but some of the Turk Mauser stocks have some great wood.
