Was heading to the range with my oldest daughter and one of my friends today.
friend showed up with a new .22 rifle but no ammo for it. Not a surprise to me really cause his tight ass never has ammo when we go shooting and he borrows mine.
Being the hard ass that i am I told him he better stop and pick up some .22 on the way if he wanted to shoot cause i wasn't gonna loan him any.
Well the only place open is Wal-Mart (From here on will be referred to as the Chinese Embassy).
So we stop by the embassy and proceed to go in so he can pick up some ammo. While he is waiting in line a man who shall we say is hispanic is buying 6 boxes of .38 special ammo. The man can't speak a lick of english has no valid US ID or drivers license or green card and yet the salesman sold him the ammo no problem.
When my buddy got up there and asked for the Remington 550 count box of 22 shells. the salesman spent a couple of minutes quizzing him on the info listed on his drivers license. Even mentioning something about it being an out of state ID. I mean shit I live within 5 minutes of South Carolina. It ain't like they don't get all kinds of out of state shoppers there or anything.
I haven't bought anything at wal-mart going on about a year and don't plan to start shopping there anytime soon either. I just thought it was funny that a man with no valid US ID and can't speak english was able to make the purchase a hell of a lot easier than a US citizen was.

Hello, knutz
What is he gonna shoot it in, certainly he can't have a gun.......
Welcome to the Nation that Jorge built....(as in W. Bush...) What really pisses me off is to hear them harp about "having babies, we're gonna take over, 'cause we're having all the babies". Well, how many fuckin' babies would they be having if they, rather than us, were paying for 'em? Which brings up a very relevant question, why the heck are we paying for 'em?
Gas getting in short supply? Gotta have proof of citizenship to buy it. Gas stocks rise 20%-30%, prices fall accordingly.
But, that might not be PC.....

And why do you *ALWAYS* blame this shit on George W?

It was the fuckin' Democrats (I believe?) that started this whole "Welfare" shit mentality. Why the fuck do you think all the minority classes usually vote Democrat all the time? Which party (in the state of NJ at least) has Hispanic mayors in it who can't even speak the fucking English language well? What fuckin political party are they most likely affiliated with there, hotshot?

George W. might be full of shit too when it comes to immigration reform, but at least he made the effort to tour the SBI (Secure Border Initiative). Did you see Hillary or fuckin Obama with their sun hats on down there yet?

Loose a family member in Iraq? Thank Bush.
I still have my guns thanks to the constitution that was written way before Bush was ever born. And Bush should be blamed for everything. The buck stops there. He's the idiot in the whitehouse. He must be responsible. When he got bad info in weapons of mass destruction in Iraq,. that is his responsibility. The fact that Bin Ladin has not been caught yet, his fault too. Oil prices and the decline of the dollar on foreign markets, and lets not forget the recession we're in. It's all Bush's fault. All of it. And lets also think about the bail out of Bear Stearns. Why? What about all the people going into mortgage forclosure? Where's their bail out? Lets just wait for another quarterly report of record high profits from Exxon, and the other oil companies. Where's the outrage? Do republicans like paying $60++ to fill up their gas tanks? I don't.
Can't blame the Democrats. Nope, not this time. Blame Bush and Cheny. Any Democrat could have done a better job than Bush has done. Shit my cat could have done a better job than Bush. Hell, Even Mcain has distanced himself from Bush, and he damn well better if he wants any chance to win.
P. S. Gotta ad this. I was a federal agent during 911. National Park Rangers are Federal Agents. After Bush appointed Gail Norton to head the U. S. Department of the Interior you know what she did when our country was under attack???? That stupid bitch started cutting federal agent jobs!!! What a great time for job cuts, when we're under attack.......... Well, she did head the Florida parks and recreation department, so she probably knew best with all that softball experience.

While i agree with alot of what was said here, id have to stick with the guy who said that he thinks both sides sold out.
As for the Bush administration supporting the people in DC vs Heller, if you really believe that, you have been snowballed. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Solicitor General Paul D. Clement, writing for the bush administration in the Heller case wrote that, while there should be an individual, private right to have a gun in one’s home, it should be subject to regulation by government that would not have to meet the strictest constitutional test. At the podium, he several times repeated his criticism of the D.C. Circuit Court for even bringing up a higher constitutional bar to gun regulation.
read his brief. he (and therefore the bush administration) is in no way in support of the second amendment in this case. what he has done in other cases, i have no idea, but seeing as the bush administrations Solicitor General, who answers to bush directly wasnt asked to revise his statement that laws do not have to meet a test of "being constitutional", i can only assume that bush feels the same way.
This isnt about party lines, for sure.

I agree Jeaux E. I'm so sick of everyone blaming everything under the sun on Bush. Don't get me wrong. I'm ready for him to be gone. He lost me with illegal immigration. But the 'replacements' suck. Since Shirlery, Obama 'jo mamma', or the RINO will be our next prez, I believe there will come a day when we wish Bush was still da man.

I also am in disagreement with Bush's stance on illegal immigration.........but believe me, its nothing new. This did not begin with Bush.......
Houston, (just as an example, Guido), has been a Mexican shithole for 30 years..........Chicago too........... This is not a newly emerging problem........... It's handy to drop it on Bush now, but the Democraps have been reaping the benefits of the Hispanic (and others) votes for many years................ Some of the cheapest votes they buy.............

Back to the point.....
the deal at walmart sucks and personally i would have asked for a manager, and pointed this shit out, and got someone's ass fired for discrimination against the non-hispanics.....
ironically months ago i bought 100 rounds of 308 at walmart and got the third degree, last week i bought 400 rounds of 45 and 380, and the woman i found to let me in the case, was very nice, had no key to the case, yet proceeded to pry the case open for me, and say "have at it, take what you want!".....
so.....experiences vary...i've had both good and bad.....
back to off the point........court appointments are up to those in office, liberal or conservative.....i don't like the idea of only conservatives on the bench nor only liberal. I don't like the idea of any party controlling both congress and the presidency....bad shit happens when everyone agrees.....that shit is dangerous
whether or not someone else could have done better in the position Bush has been in....we will never really know...can't turn back time....but few can argue that Bush has been an unquestioned success, an inspiration to others, or a great and popular leader. when the majority of the nation is upset with his leadership, including a very large portion of republicans, when the republican leadership is trying to get away from even the memory of bush during the election season.....you can't pretend that all is well with a presidency.
Some love him, some hate him.....the later groups seems to be much larger lately......i'm in that latter group as well.....sorry Jeaux!....last good thing Bush did in my book was Afganistan.....since then....7 years of shit....my opinion....
doesn't mean i'm voting dem this year......just means i hate bush and the majority of his decisions.

Hello
First off, let me make it perfectly clear that I think all of them, with very few exceptions, and the "two-party system" have the intrinsic value of a loose bowel-movement. I think any arguement that "we are good, that other party is bad" just inhales from the smokescreen we are fed.
Elected officials priorities generally go 1) their own wealth and power base; 2) Their party's backing (read:$$$) and finally, 3) maintaining some sort of a "front" for the masses who ultimately have to re-elect them. They don't give a damn about you and me.
There are a few elected representatives who have stood up, usually against stiff opposition, often from their own parties, to say what needs to be said about the immigration debacle. Representative John Culberson, (R-TX) comes to mind as a exemplary representative in that regard. However, it has often been at the scorn of his "Politically Correct New-World-Order" party peers. Yup, Republicans (and Democrats, of course...)
Jorge has been absolutely abysmal in that regard. His "leadership" has basically been to completely disassociate himself from the People of this Nation, and the Conservative platform that put him in office, and run this great Country as an emporer. He was one of the driving forces behind the "amnesty" movement sponsored by McCain and Ted Kennedy, and was absolutely dumbfounded when 90% of the Country rose up and told him he was full of shit. Not what I would call "in touch with the Heartbeat of America..."
BTW, Jorge stated that he would sign a "weapons control" bill if one made it to his desk. The fact that one didn't is not to Jorge's credit, it's due to the few members of the House that still have some recollection of who put them into that position, namely, the Conservative voters of this Country.
Having to choose between a Socialist Lesbyterian, a Socialist Muslim, and a watered-down mealy-mouthed politically-correct compromiser is not a particularly robust field to vote from. I certainly do agree that McCain is by far the least of a threat from that bunch, and wish him the best. Maybe he'll surprise us and develop a pair....He'll get my vote, and if he chooses Condaleeza Rice as a running mate, I may even help drum-up support where I can. That's one woman who doesn't mince words! We need a lot more of that in our politics.
FWIW, I voted Ron Paul in the primaries.
Rant off.

I get tired of hearing about the wiretapping. From my understanding, we can listen in to known terrorists in foreign countries. If someone from the US calls or receives a call from suspected terrorist, we can listen to the conversation, but can't use any of the info we get from the person calling from the US. If the conversation is interesting, we then get a warrant to wiretap the person calling from the US. It's the MSM that's making everyone paranoid about all this.
We can't keep the liberals out this time. But maybe we can keep out the Socialists.
I'm with you on this one Jeaux E.

No, you can thank dumbfucks like Nancy Pelosi and FatFuck Teddy Kennedy for Osama running free. Imagine the gall of those two non-Military serving pukes actually having the balls to grill someone like General Petraeus on if he's doing the best job he can over there in the sandbox. What, did Nancy and Teddy suddenly attend the Infantry college in Ft. Benning and learn military tactics guaranteed to win the war for us while I wasn't looking? I don't fucking think so.

Shades of fucking Viet Nam all over again with the Hippies and DemHomos losing the war for us thru attrition.

And as for the rest of you Republican bashers, I currently *LIVE* in a Democratic experiment gone horribly wrong. What do I see in the newspapers and on T.V. everyday, another minority (and white sometimes) Democrat under investigation for misappropriation somehow. Sharpe James, Milton Milan, etc. (all fine Democrats there

And if that doesn't cheese me off enough there, we got all kind of illegal fucks (Cuba, Mexico) streaming in and starting up shit here. First of all, when they defect into New Jersey, they got relatives and shit (probably all illegals too

) teaching them on how to fuck over the system and get on welfare so Whitey takes care of them the rest of their natural lives (who they are non to fond of anyway), get green cards, etc. so they can stay here. Then, (if that isn't enough) they get all pissed off at the local cable T.V. system (paid for with Whitey's welfare handouts, no doubt) and raise a stink because there is only *ONE* Spanish speaking station on it. WTF, assholes, you in America now. Learn the fucking language (we're not going to cater to you anymore, no matter what the Dems have you believe).

That means *NO* more Spanish speaking 911 operators are going to be hired at extra cost to the Gringo taxpayer to field your emergency calls either. Hello, Gaddis
I don't hate Bush, and I don't blame him for everything that hasn't worked out perfectly. I think he started out with good ideals, but somewhere along the way, he lost is direction.
What I feel toward him is betrayal. I believe in many ways he completely waved his dick at the people who put him where he is.
I support his efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq, I wish he'd cowboy-up and do something about that little Iranian turban-knocker, but where I really feel the meat is his support for amnesty for some 20-50 million illegals, depending on who's counting.
Giving OUR Country away is no small deal. Pretty much treason, if you ask me. Not a whole lot different that that asswipe Obama wanting to go hug the Jihadists. Or Jane Fonda forsaking the POW's.
When he is sending our brave troops to lay it all on the line overseas and at the same time is working political deals to hand-over the keys to our Country to a bunch of quasi-literate child molesters, it's time to call a spade a spade!
That's all. I want a true Conservative back in our Oval Office. Man, do we ever need one now....If only Colin Powell would have run, with Condaleeza Rice as V.P......Well, maybe if Jorge hadn't put the meat to him over the Iraq WMD deal, we may have been that lucky....

Ok, lets continue this if you insist. Lets take a look at the specifics:
Emergency Management: They completely failed to manage the first large-scale emergency since 9/11. Despite all their big talk and hundreds of billions of dollars spent on homeland security over the past four years, this administration proved itself stunningly incompetent when faced with an actual emergency.
Fiscal Management: America is broke. No wait, we're worse than broke. In less than five years these borrow and spend-thrifts have nearly doubled our national debt, to a stunning $8.2 trillion. These are not your father's Republicans who treated public dollars as though they were an endangered species. These Republicans waste money in ways and in quantities that make those old tax and spend liberals of yore look like tight-fisted Scots.
This administration is so incompetent that you can just throw a dart at the front page of your morning paper and whatever story of importance it hits will prove my point.
Katrina relief: Eleven thousand spanking new mobile homes sinking into the Arkansas mud. Seems no one in the administration knew there were federal and state laws prohibiting trailers in flood zones. Oops. That little mistake cost you $850 million -- and counting.
Medicare Drug Program: This $50 billion white elephant debuted by trampling many of those it was supposed to save. The mess forced states to step in and try to save its own citizens from being killed by the administration's poorly planned and executed attempt to privatize huge hunks of the federal health safety net.
Afghanistan: Good managers know that in order to pocket the gains of a project, you have to finish it. This administration started out fine in Afghanistan. They had the Taliban and al Queda on the run and Osama bin Laden trapped in a box canyon. Then they were distracted by a nearby shiney object -- Iraq. We are now $75 billion out of pocket in Afghanistan and its sitting president still rules only within the confines of the nation's capital. Tribal warlords, the growing remnants of the Taliban and al Qaeda call the shots in the rest of the county.
Iraq: This ill-begotten war was supposed to only cost us $65 billion. It has now cost us over $300 billion and continues to suck $6 billion a month out of our children's futures. Meanwhile the three warring tribes Bush "liberated" are using our money and soldiers' lives to partition the country. The Shiites and Kurds are carving out the prime cuts while treating the once-dominant Sunnis the same way the Israelis treat the Palestinians, forcing them onto Iraq's version of Death Valley. Meanwhile Iran is increasingly calling the shots in the Shiite region as mullahs loyal to Iran take charge.
Iran: The administration not only jinxed its Afghanistan operations by attacking Iraq, but also provided Iran both the rationale for and time to move toward nuclear weapons. The Bush administration's neocons' threats to attack Syria next only provided more support for religious conservatives within Iran who argued U.S. intentions in the Middle East were clear, and that only the deterrent that comes with nuclear weapons could protect them.
North Korea: Ditto. Also add to all the above the example North Korea set for Iran. Clearly once a country possesses nukes, the U.S. drops the veiled threats and wants to talk.
Social Programs: It's easier to get affordable -- even free -- American-style medical care, paid for with American dollars, if you are injured in Iraq, Afghanistan or are victims of a Pakistani earthquake, than if you live and pay taxes in the good old U.S.A. Nearly 50 million Americans can't afford medical insurance. Nevertheless the administration has proposed a budget that will cut $40 billion from domestic social programs, including health care for the working poor. The administration is quick to say that those services will be replaced by its "faith-based" programs. Not so fast...
"Despite the Bush administration's rhetorical support for religious charities, the amount of direct federal grants to faith-based organizations declined from 2002 to 2004, according to a major new study released yesterday....The study released yesterday "is confirmation of the suspicion I've had all along, that what the faith-based initiative is really all about is de-funding social programs and dumping responsibility for the poor on the charitable sector," said Kay Guinane, director of the nonprofit advocacy program at OMB Watch.."
The Military: Overused and over-deployed.
Former Defense Secretary William Perry and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright warned in a 15-page report that the Army and Marine Corps cannot sustain the current operational tempo without "doing real damage to their forces." ... Speaking at a news conference to release the study, Albright said she is "very troubled" the military will not be able to meet demands abroad. Perry warned that the strain, "if not relieved, can have highly corrosive and long-term effects on the military.
With military budgets gutted by the spiraling costs of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, the administration has requested funding for fewer National Guard troops in fiscal 2007 -- 17,000 fewer. Which boggles the sane mind since, if it weren't for reserve/National Guard, the administration would not have had enough troops to rotate forces in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Nearly 40 percent of the troops sent to those two countries were from the reserve and National Guard.
The Environment: Here's a little pop quiz: What happens if all the coral in the world's oceans dies? Answer: Coral is the first rung on the food-chain ladder; so when it goes, everything else in the ocean dies. And if the oceans die, we die.
The coral in the world's oceans are dying (called "bleaching") at an alarming and accelerating rate. Global warming is the culprit. Nevertheless, this administration continues as the world's leading global warming denier. Why? Because they seem to feel it's more cost effective to be dead than to force reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. How stupid is that? And time is running out.
Trade: We are approaching a $1 trillion annual trade deficit, most of it with Asia, $220 billion with just China -- just last year.
Energy: Record high energy prices. Record energy company profits. Dick Cheney's energy task force meetings remain secret. Need I say more?
Consumers: Americans finally did it last year -- they achieved a negative savings rate. (Folks in China save 10 percent, for contrast.) If the government can spend more than it makes and just say "charge it" when it runs out, so can we. The average American now owes $9,000 to credit card companies. Imagine that.
Human Rights: America now runs secret prisons and a secret judicial system that would give Kafka fits. And the U.S. has joined the list of nations that tortures prisoners of war. (Shut up George! We have pictures!)
I could go on for another 1,000 words listing the stunning incompetence of the Bush administration and its GOP sycophants in Congress. But what's the use? The sun continues to shine in this fool's paradise.
But don't bother George W. Bush with any of this. While Bushy is seldom right, he is never in doubt. Doubt is Bush's enemy. Worry? How can he worry when he has has no doubts? And certainly don't blame him, that'll just piss off the loyal followers of the blind. It has nothing to do with political correctness. It has everything to do with politics.
To be continued.................

Hello, ClickClickD'oh
There's a difference between feeling betrayed by the person you voted for, and being a Democrat.
I voted for neither party, I voted for a candidate who vowed to pursue conservative goals. He let me (us) down in some very important arenas.
It was the House that finally put the brakes on the "Crimigrant Amnesty" bill, Jorge was pushing it with every resource he had.
It was the House that refused to go along with a weapons regulation bill, Jorge indicated he would sign it, if it made it to his desk.
Actions like that put him closer to the Democrats, in my book, but that "party" shit is getting a bit rhetorical.
And since this thread started about "preferential treatment for crimigrants" I think a mention about one of the biggest "enablers" of all is not very far off-topic. Jorge Bush set the "tone" for our Nation's "no-nad's" response to this mess. Granted, he didn't start it, but has he done anything whatsoever to stop it? Or, has he done his best to perpetuate it?
That's all.

The 'myth' of global warming has been determined to be just that. That's why they now call it global warming. They just can't seem to get their stories straight. Wonder what they'll call it next?
On the issue of illegals, I stand with my brothers-in-arms. They have no right to be here. Too many people that are trying to get here legally are getting bumped by criminals. If they were trying to import their best here, it would possibly be different. But they aren't. They're sending us their worst. I know some are honest (except for breaking the law coming here) but way too many are in our jails. They prove they don't care about our laws by coming here. Why would anyone think they care about any of our other laws?

I'm sorry, but the only people who called it a myth was the current administration. And, you are wrong. It has been determined to be exactly that. Global warming. Get your head out of the sand! Here are a few facts on global warming:
The average global air temperature near the Earth's surface increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the hundred years ending in 2005. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes "most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the mid-twentieth century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic (man-made) greenhouse gas concentrations"[1] via the greenhouse effect. Natural phenomena such as solar variation combined with volcanoes probably had a small warming effect from pre-industrial times to 1950 and a small cooling effect from 1950 onward.
These basic conclusions have been endorsed by at least thirty scientific societies and academies of science,[4] including all of the national academies of science of the major industrialized countries.[5][6][7] While individual scientists have voiced disagreement with some findings of the IPCC,[8] the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change agree with the IPCC's main conclusions.

Illegals? yes, I agree. They are costing us all money. But dont be a racist like Gaddis and classify them into a particular race. Just call them illegal aliens. That's what they are. Some are mexican, some are from Haiti, as well as many other countries. The aliens who have fled their country due to political oppression should be welcomed here. And yes, they should learn english. And they should become citizens. And no one who is trying to legally become a US citizen is being "bumped" by an illegal aliens. That's why they're illegal, they aren't going through proper channels.
You can stand by whomever you wish, but Gaddis' comments were racist, pure and simple. If you're a racist, then fine. Be one. But don't be one and then deny it.
So do you have any comment on what I posted above? or just more of the same emotional rhetoric? Address the facts please.

Or to Fernando, who I try to keep in regular contact with while he's over seas? If despising illegals makes me a racist, so be it. But I never knew 'illegal' was a race.

Only people who know the truth about Katrina relief are in Louisiana and Mississippi and were directly involved with FEMA.
There is no state law in Louisiana prohibiting a trailer in a "flood zone".
The reason(s) that so many trailers were not placed was pure and simple local politics!
Now, since your facts were wrong there; where else might they be wrong?

Bingo!!!! I won't deny that FEMA dropped the ball. But it all started with local and state government. There was as much, if not more, devastation in Mississippi than Louisiana. But all the fools who were too stoopid to leave when a cat 5 was coming their way get all the attention. My sympathies lie only with those unable to leave. The ones Nagin didn't help.

When I saw "Chinese embassy" in the title, I just had to look. When I read the first post, I was surprised, but only by the title, and read on. I only read 4 or 5 posts, then moved on, just another bashing. But today, it's still going strong, so I read the whole thing. I guess I'll chime in. Why not? Half of my family IS Native American, so I have every right to.
First off, Cobra, that is some funny shit there.
For the OP, I get carded at "ghetto mart" every time I buy ammo there, and I'm 41, and my hair is turning white, what hasn't fallen out, anyway. Before RangerDavid or somebody else gives me crap about "ghetto mart", even blacks, Negros, African Americans, whatever you want to call folks with brown skin, around here that I know call it that, and avoid the place, travelling 15 miles up the road to go to "redneck mart", the one out in the county. I don't like shopping at china mart, but I am forced to live paycheck to paycheck, and must do what my budget demands. I work 2 jobs, and make things on the side, and still don't have enough. I don't have even one credit card or loan, excepting the house, and have no car payments. I don't own a boat, jet ski, or any other "recreational toys" of that general sort. Haven't seen any illegal types buying ammo there, so can't comment.
As for illegals, they shouldn't even have been allowed in. There should be guard towers along the border, with machine guns, that are in range of each other to give overlapping fields of fire. They should be instructed to shoot anything crossing the border, and chew it up with fire and leave them where they fall. I think in short order they will be bored with nothing to shoot at. If you want to come here, do it the right way, and learn the language. Keep your own, teach it to your kids, remember your culture, but you need to learn English and our ways as well. I think this says how much welfare they should be receiving. Deport them, if they come back, well there's the machine guns. I don't care where they came from, illegal is illegal.
As for Bush, well he has certainly played his part to sell us down the river. But he has not been alone, we been on this path for several decades now, at the very least. I will say that he has increased the speed of travel perhaps more than any other, even Clinton, who had the record. We are there. All that is needed is the proper time so that the sheeple won't revolt. Both parties are pretty much the same, and have been for awhile.
For the election, there isn't much difference, they will all carry us to hell in the handbasket, the difference is whether they run or just walk while carrying. I'm starting to think we should just vote for the worst one and get it over with, so we can rebuild. I ain't getting any younger.
Every time I hear global warming, I remember the article about that silly treehugger that went to the North Pole to get info to prove global warming, and never got there, suffering from the record cold temps. So the pole has record cold and the air gets warmer. Every time a volcano erupts, or there is a forest fire, there is more greenhouse gas emissions than the whole country combined, and somehwere something is erupting about all the time. We may play a part in warming or cooling, but it isn't so big a part as we would like. The weather changes in patterns that are far too big for us mere mortals to grasp, and to think that we little ants are going to change it is a delusion.

There are a lot of things here that aren't around but "should" be, and your living paycheck to paycheck like most of us, so who's gonna fork out the money for those things that "should" be there? I agree, we need a stiffer border, we need stiffer penalties on laws, and we need to fix this country and let the fucking world fend for itself for a while until we get back on our feet. but how much of it will happen?

You can stand by whomever you wish, but Gaddis' comments were racist, pure and simple. If you're a racist, then fine. Be one. But don't be one and then deny it.
I'm sorry, but being against illegal immigration doesn't make me a racist. Or should I tell the Jimenez family I was just toying with them when I went to their sons funeral? Or to Fernando, who I try to keep in regular contact with while he's over seas? If despising illegals makes me a racist, so be it. But I never knew 'illegal' was a race.
As for the rest of your comments, I have a really crappy version of AOL and it's hit or miss being able to access my 'favorites'. But I believe I have something saved there. But even you quoted calling it climate change, not global warming. Could that be because parts of the world are getting colder?
Not wanting to argue here. Just stating my beliefs.
NO, being against Illegals isn't being racist. What I said was that what gaddis said was racist. He said Mexicans and Cubans. Thats racist. I in fact agreed with you in saying illegals of any nationality should not be acceptable.

What is the basis for your opinion? Are you sure the ONLY people who know the truth are in Louisana and Mississippi?
Thank you for at least posting in opposition to my post.

Hmmm, gee, that's a tough one......
Let's see,
I live in Louisiana?
I was in New Orleans after Katrina?
I have a relative that worked for a FEMA contractor processing trailer requests?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure because I haven't seen much from anybody else anywhere.
For years there have been scientists and what nots telling the state and the city that this could happen.
They were ignored for the most part.
Partly because there were just as many scientists and what nots telling the exact opposite.
It was believed that the plans in place were adequate.
This was the kind of thing that you really can't plan for all the possibilities and variables.
In some ways it was not as bad as the media tried to make it out to be.
And in some ways it was much worse.
Now I am old enough to remember in the 70's when the warnings went out that "global cooling" was going to destroy the planet.
And here we are 30 years later, but now it is "global warming" that is the destroyer.
I wonder what it will be in another 30 years.....................

I think we're already seeing it. It's called "Global Climate Change", and IMO it's shorthand for "I don't know what's going to happen, but whatever it is, it's caused by Humans!"

Any now if there were any way to blame it on WalMart and the Chinese............Hmmmmm......... I had chinese for lunch, and i'm now contributing to the gassious emissions in our atmosphere............... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
