I have 4 S-12s and 1 S-7.62 I want to get parkerized at once and have not found but two locally the first wants $225.00 per gun and the second I'm calling in the morning. I am asking prices with the guns already broke down. I don't know if the $200.00 range in the norm or not. If so I'll go a different route. Could someone shed some light on the cost? Resonable or not?

Edit: Thanks but got a few more quotes looks like I'm building a tank.

I wish you had asked last weekend, me and another member had the long tank heated up Monday night up in Killeen / Ft Hood area. Not sure if that's close enough for you.

No it is not, Ever heard of Blanket, Texas? Population maybe 50? It is 15 miles outside of Brownwood, Texas. There in a steel building waaay out in the sticks is Texas Armament. Long guns $90 shipped and returned. They do outstanding work. I have had 8 rifles and countless magazines done by them. Finish is dark black not grey, everything is bead blasted and non-ferrous parts done with high temp paint,i.e. AR15s ect. They do military contracts and used to do all of MILTECHs finish work ,probably still do. Professional and top notch. They used to advertise in SGN but no longer do . The owner told me they no longer need to because they have their customer base down. I believe it, a well kept secret! 325-646-5827
