I just read that D.C. female police chief's statement that semi-auto handguns are still banned (to protect the fair citizens of the aforementioned district) from the "rash of handgun violence" that has (according to her) plagued our streets for far too long.

(Hint, Chief - so will bringing back the death penalty and *ACTUALLY* using it for once too).

On a related note, I was just reading over on Comcast.net that they might have possibly caught the two killers of Eve Carson (the North Carolina female college student that was kidnapped and later found shot (twice!) dead).
