Paladin,
That might possibly be the Izhmash Los-7-1 bolt action:

if so, read this review ( be sure to check out the groups Fortier had with match type loads):

Krebs has one for sale on his website and there are some on the gun auction sites as well. If you do purchase one please let me know what kind of accuracy you get with yours.

I've been thinking of adding a bolt action to my battery, I don't NEED one, but you know how it is. rolleyes.gif

If you could actually achieve the groups mentioned in the review, the Los 7-1 would be well worth the money. I remember they were originally selling for less than $500 and that was with scope mount and two box magazines a few years ago. If you are on a budget and would like a decent "Tactical" bolt gun, then look on CDNN's website (WWW. CDNNInvestments.com) for the FN PBR barrelled actions in .308 cal. $399 for a 20 or 24 inch fluted heavy barrel, detachable box magazine fed bolt action with Picatinny rail and scope rings. These are Winchester bolt-actions with "FN Patrol Bolt Action" stamped on the reciever. Hogue overmoulded stocks are due in CDNN for these rifle action in a couple of weeks ( approx. $100). They also have actions only for those who prefer a better or different barrel option.
