Gonna try and make this match.
http://langhornerodandgunclub.org/LRGC3/I have never ran one before so any help is appreciated.
I have shot IDPA before and shotgun(trap and sporting clays)
I plan on using:
Glock 26 9mm (I tried a 17 and 19 and am just on with this gun)
AR m4 with aimpoint or bulgy krink SBR in 545 with kobra(I am more comfortable with the AK)
Tromix S17 or beretta semi(Still waiting for my form 4 to come in.....8 weeks)
any gear I should be looking at? any tips for a newbie?
I really dont want to toss the cash into high end gear as most of these are 2 hours away and I may shoot 2 a year if I am lucky.
My practice time is way down as well due to work schedule, family, and closing of state ranges.
Thanks!

For your first 3 gun match. Don't try to win! Take it easy.
Most problems with ARs are reloading. People shoot, decide to reload, drop magazine, jam in new magazine, pull trigger, bang, pull trigger again, click. The magazine isn't seated. Then they jam it in again, rack the bolt, shoot, then click. Then they repeat the process. If your new your fellow competitors won't laugh. If your an old hand, you will hear a lot of laughter.
I suggest you shot till empty, drop magazine, insert new magazine, release bolt, keep shooting. It is about 2 seconds slower, but never fails.
The shotgun stages are won by guys who reload fastest, not shoot fastest. I know you said you don't have any time, however, take the time to practice reloads. You don't need to shoot, just 100 practice loads a session for a couple of weeks. The best shotgun shooters wear off the finish of their guns from practicing.

Three words, slow, slow, slow.
As in go slow, hit ALL the targets with solid alpha hits.
After you have done a few matches, work on speeding up.

I agree go slow try to shoot clean, also 75 bucks is a bit steep for a first time match look around for other local matches you can go to, in order to get ready for a match like that one.

I noticed the: "No speed loaders for the shottie" rule. So bring your Beretta.
