Guido, I
always enjoy reading your retorts. They are so.....
ME . It usually eliminates the need for me to comment. But... trophy buck? more like vermin eradication.
Trophy buck is an insult to these fine animals because in Houston I know you would not compare whitetails to the garbage you still got hanging around. But yeah... by all means, pop 'em.

Will that asshole New Orleans mayor Nagin attempt to steal people's guns as he did after Katrina? What a scum sucking low life. He complained about lack of transportation to evacuate while his city's school buses were left to rust in the storm waters and could have been used to evacuate the city. During the looting many 'police' officers were photographed in uniform taking part in the looting.
It's no wonder Louisiana gets hammered with hurricanes when they have rotten corrupt politicians. They even have one county which arrests people for drugs on the pretense of a drug sniffing dog finding traces of drugs in ashtrays and confiscating their cars and hitting them with heavy fines and imprisoning them. Who knows many innocent people have they victimized over the years and have been thrown into Louisiana prisons for no reason other than local government greed. I won't travel through that state for that reason.
The only professional law enforcement officers are the state police while the local yokels would never make it as police officers in any other state.

Ok, I call shenanigans!
You're going to have to come up with some proof to back that claim up.

After conversations Saturday with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and emergency management officials about Hurricane Gustav, Barack Obama said cooperation between the local and federal government “appears to be good” but he will continue to monitor it.
Oh thank God!
We no longer have to worry!!!!!
HE is monitoring the situation.
Just what the hell does he know about hurricanes or preparing for them?

Last I saw, Nagin was saying that he didn't think mandatory evacuations were necessary. Okay, granted things got screwed up last time, and there was plenty of blame to go around, but now you have a chance to do it right - and by all accounts everyone at the state and federal level IS doing it right - and you don't think it's necessary?
Why the hell is this guy still in office?
Maybe they can evacuate everyone but him from New Orleans, and the storm can take care of him...

The city said in a news release that those not on their property after the mandatory evacuation started would be subject to arrest.
On what charges, exactly?
Thought crimes and questioning the governments ability to take care of them and theirs, no doubt.
good grief.

I read in the news this morning a gunshop owner said his sales doubled in the last few days.
He said "People didn't want to come back to their house empty handed in case someone was inside"
People get crazy when things get crazy

Will,
Be sure to have your vest on when you go on patrol. Be careful and get them before they get you!

I live in Missiissippi where we got the worst side of Katrina. All I can say is New Orleans is fixin to see what a hit from the Northeast side a major hurricane really is. I beleive it's going to be alot worse then a break in the levees. I hope Will makes out alright in Baton Rouge.
