I own a Saiga in .223. I enjoy it, but find the recoil to be a bit sharp even for its size. I am looking for a recoil pad I can bolt on to the stock. I know the owner of this website used to make an adapter plate to allow use of a Limbsaver pad, but it seems they no longer have it. So does ANYONE make a recoil pad that can be attached to the original Saiga hunting stock?

I've got one of these on my Saiga 12. It works very nice.

Thanks. I'm exploring my options, including having my conversion done and installing a PSL stock with its recoil plate on it. I think I'd honestly want to keep my existing stock because it makes the gun very stable, but it's a hard decision: comfort and recoil reduction vs. extreme stability.

We have the slip on limbsaver pads that slide over the factory stocks, but we have only been able to get them in brown.
