I can say the same thing about the AR, I thought for certain that was about to be a FTE. I guess its amazing the close tolerances on some of these firearms

That is from Tripp Research and they specialize in 1911 & AR-15 magazines. Their 1911 magazines are good but I haven't tried their AR-15 mags.
