Being a very radiologically minded individual myself, I'm always interested in seeing interesting x-rays regardless of the subject. But x-rays of guns...now thats cool! So I've been trying to search for radiographic images of firearms, similar to the MP5 in my sig line. I know theres more out there but I havn't had much luck in finding them.

Heres a page with a couple, also have some high speed x-rays of bullet impacts, pretty neat:

But thats pretty much all I could find. Anybody else got any?

http://www.docsmachine.com/ used to have a lot of paintball gun x-ray pics. I'm not sure if they're still on the site or not, but there's always good stuff to look at regardless.

Yeah the exploding bullet is neat but I'm not sure exactly what kind of bullet it is. I mean I never get the chance to play with any exploding bullets so I wouldn't know.
I like the pic of the bullet impacting the steel block. I'm not an expert on metallurgic radiography but from what I do know I assume those radiating pressure waves to be areas of increased density caused by the metal "sqooshing" together as the waves pass through the material. Way cool!
I'm pretty impressed with the speed of these exposures; thats one damn fast x-ray!

Oh BTW, if you didn't notice, the so-called "gatling gun" is an M79 with a beehive adapter.

Don't have any gun X-rays, but I go see the Doc. next week, maybe I can get a pix of the uglyest knee you ever saw, and maybe the couple pounds of steel in the ankle.
