25 to a box why not 25 to a drum.

Full Version: If 12ga ammo is sold mostly in 25 round boxes?
Around here bratwursts are sold in packs of five, but buns in packs of eight. Why? Why? 
You can buy shotgun ammo in 250 round cases, why not a 250 round drum?
Just build a 12ga belt fed mine gun - then you can let the smoke out of a skid at a time!
