I'm asking b/c i'm clueless on a gun purse for my girl. She's pretty picky on purses and we've looked at a few from Galco and Roma and ect. they either seem too $$ or just too damn ugly for her to even wear (you know how women are) lol So anyone with any experiance or even to point me in the right direction I would appreciate it 000.gif

Purses can be snatched or laid down in the wrong place.

On-the-body carry is best (for both men and woman) imho.

hard for her, she's tiny with no concealable place on her to carry without printing....sigh, gonna hafta figure something out....

I have bought a couple of Coronado Leather gun purses and they are well made, serviceable and expensivel. We have been quite satisfied and they hold up well. Since they are expensive she might get one on a birthday or Christmas and it doesn;t hurt so bad. smile.gif

My girl won't be seen without at least a Coach purse or Louis Vuitton, not purses made for CCW. That said, she keeps either a Sig P229 or a Kahr P40 in them all the time. I am impressed how she is very conscious about her purse and the gun(s) in it all the time.

If a gun purse is truly the only viable option, then OK; but, for the reasons that Nalioth gave above, carrying a gun on one's person is MUCH better. Just about anybody should be able to carry a .380 concealed on their person. I know they aren't "man stoppers," but it's a better option than a gun purse IMHO. In fact, in my department, female officers on plain-clothes duty are prohibited from carrying in a gun purse.
