Just a heads up for all the MMA fans here. Spike is showing UFC 89 for free tonight, on Spike at 9PM (Eastern Time).

Here's the card:

Michael Bisping Vs. Chris Leben (Not really a fan of Leben, but I hope Bisping get's his face caved in.)

Keith Jardine Vs. Brandon Vera

Rameau Sokoudjou Vs. Luiz Cane

Paul Taylor Vs. Chris Lytle

Paul Kelly Vs. Marcus Davis

Dan Hardy Vs. Akihiro Gono

Shane Carwin Vs. Neil Wain

Jess Liaudin Vs. David Bielkheden

Sam Stout Vs. Terry Etim

David Baron Vs. Jim Miller

Per Eklund Vs. Samy Schiavo

Not really a spectacular card, IMO. But there's a few fights I want to see.

Jardine v. Vera is an interesting match up.

On a side note, would they please kick that dumb ass Junie off of the Ultimate Fighter! He needs serious meds and long term counseling.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll make sure the DVR is set up.

One of the fights I'm looking forward to, is the Stout fight. Sam Stout puts on a good show usually.

Agreed!

Why someone would constantly be an ass, and take the chance of screwing up a great opportunity like he has, is beyond me.

That's the truth! Last season, Dana gave that huge speech to Jesse about how if he's a punk before making it big in the UFC, he'll be out of control when he gets some fame and success. He told him to go home and get his personal life in order. But, Junie is still around this season for acting like a big retard. I think Dana is leaving him around for ratings.

After that BULLSHIT Bisping/Hamar fight (which Bisping CLEARLY lost) ............I hope Bisping gets his ass kicked by all.

Hamar? Are you talking about Matt Hamill? If so, I completely agree. Even my girlfriend, who was watching that fight with me, and doesn't know that much about the sport, could clearly see that Bisping lost.

Didn't they fight in the UK? I am sure the desire to grow interest in the UFC in England had a lot do do with that outcome. I agree, Bisping lost that fight, no doubt about it. I hate to see such ill conceived outcomes when the decision goes to the Judges. It creates at least a slight thought that "the fix was in' which is something they need to avoid at all costs.

Yeah, they fought in England.

It would be one thing, if he got the decision, but was humble about it because he knew he didn't win (like I've seen in many other fights, where you can tell the winner doesn't think he actually won, by the look on his face). But no, he was all jacked up and acted like he really won that fight.

Bisping won over Leben. booo.gif

At least this time, it was a legit decision. I still can't wait for him to get his ass handed to him.

Leben fought his typical fight, and Bisping played it right. Wait for him to charge, move to the side, away from the big hit coming and hit him with a straight punch.

Leben fought hard and showed he's got some class.

I was impressed with Leben's preparation. He looked fit and ready to go. Also, I'm a soft touch for the "feel good" stories about someone who has, apparently, really turned their life around. But, he lost, plain and simple.

Me too. Eventhough Rogan kept saying Leben was in great shape, I was surprised when he came out. I was hoping so badly that one of his punches would land and lay Bisping out.

I can't Believe you guys!
Am I the only person in the world that thinks that goddamned decision was bad?
Leben was dominating that fight, more hits, tons more kicks, obviously more aggressive...

You must be the only one. I hate Bisping, and I still think it was a legit decision.

Hopefully, someday, they will let Hamill and Bisping go at it again, because everyone knows that decision was plain bullshit.
