HEY GUYS HERE IS THE DEAL BOUGHT A SAIGA OFF A FRIEND OF MINE WHOS FATHER LEFT IT TO HIM. HERE IS THE THING A IT HAS A ODD STOCK WHICH SOME GUY ON GUNBROKER SAYS IS FACTORY I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT BUT THE STICKER ON THE STOCK (INSIDE THE RECIEVER) SAYS MADE IN RUSSIA?? SECOND I THINK I HAVE AK MAGS WITH IT HOWEVER I DONT SEE A BULLET GUIDE BUT IVE FIRED ALL 5 MAGS SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT ANY ISSUES??? ALSO IT HAS A RUSSIAN SCOPE (PILAD) AND THE QUICK DETACH SCOPE MOUNT BEARS THE SAME MARKINGS AS THE RECIEVER ?? that definately doesn't look like a russian folder, that looks like someone didn't want to take the time to move all the parts to the correct position and put a cheapo stock on it. Keep the gun and do a conversion, you'll be really happy with it. If your convinced its russian then take some pics of the stock to show us what your talking about

That's an Izhmash (made for the) Saiga folder.

and it makes me mad cause i know the guy who bought it new and he NEVER changed his weapons around just bought em and shot em but i cant ask him cause i got it off his son after he died sooo... and i went to take it off to look and the screws have never been torqued they were perfect so if someone changed it they did a fantastic job if they didnt even mess up the paint on the screws im pretty good with guns but not these so im hoping someone here knows enough to explain it to me
however it is a fun a** gun to shoot so is that the actual stock that came on it i think it is but everyone has called me crazy and that they dont make them like that

That's an Izhmash (made for the) Saiga folder.
As Nalioth said above. That is the stock that is sold through the e-store on occasion http://www.saiga-12.com/proddetail.asp?pro...FOLDING%2DSTOCK for factory unconverted saigas. Not a 922 part and the mags appear to be the metal Surefire mags. modified but not US made therefore 3 more non 922 parts. You cannot legally use those mags with that stock/pg combo

well since thats a rare stock, keep it, and add some us parts to make it legal to use the hi cap mags and enjoy
Ok....that is not an Izhmash made stock, nor is it rare. It is made by a Russian aftermarket company called STK. A bunch of them came in a few years ago and I believe were selling for about $70.

I've seen a bunch like that. The previous owner simply bought that Russian folder and bolted it on a standard Saiga.

yup....those are them......and like I said they "were selling" for about $70 back when they initially came in....at least I'm pretty sure that was the going price, and as Tony already stated...he just bought one of those and screwed it onto a stock Saiga.

Actually TickBite has been Sold Out for over a year now. I emailed around about that stock and they are no longer being imported, was what I was told. So I think in that regard they are kind of rare.
I did a little more digging for you and I was wrong on the price....it seems that the $120 price was the going rate for these about 2 years ago or so...

Sounds like the 20+ yr old "reflections" software we used to use where I work...
We were still able to minimize it, and when typing emails, or whatever, turn caps lock off, then when going back into it, turn caps lock BACK ON...
Odd that where you work, your caps lock keys were removed, or made inoperable, so you could continue to run the software.
