However, is the search function broken? I get a page about an IPS error any time I try to do a search for something.

It happens to me sometimes as well, and then starts working again for no apparent reason.

I find that if you use the right search terms, google will find the post you need pretty reliably.

IPS errors have nothing to do with the search function.

The board overloads under certain condtions, mostly when guests are here in the multitudes.

That being said, the search function here (and on most boards( leaves much to be desired, even when it is running optimally.
