What's the going price right now for a stripped lower and are they any good?

Found a place local with them at $139

They also had an Ak receiver at $90

Don't buy AK receivers from anyone but Nodak Spud.

They are the sales arm for DCI, and if you buy them anywhere else, the price is gonna be JACKED UP.

I have 2 AR-15s built on Stag Arms lowers, and built one for my father on a Stag lower. All top notch receivers. The last one I bought was going for $119 at one of the Houston Gun Shows, this was pre-election though.

The ak receivers were Nodak Spud but they are $99 not 90

Got the lowers for $125 when I asked if there was a discount for more then 1.

stag arms makes qaulity products as far as AR's are concerned, they make the guns for Smith and Wesson or at least did when they first released the MP 15, so anyone with a first gen S&W MP15, its a stag arms with S&W clothes on

No, you don't understand.

Buy DIRECT from Nodak Spud.

Stag lowers are good to go. I have 1 (used to be topped with a Stag upper too), and I have zero complaints. Every mag I've tried in it drops free and the machining looks great.

That being said, for the most part, a lower is a lower. Pick out a rollmark you like from a reputable company, and you'll have no worries.

A lot of lowers' prices have gone up. So $139 actually isn't bad. Go for it, if you only want to buy local. Otherwise, I recommend Anvil Arms. They are one of the "good guys" who haven't jacked anything up (yet). Their stripped lowers are still going for $100. Plus they offer free laser engraving.

I'm not sure of their inventory at the moment but check 'em out: http://anvilarms.com/c-19-lower-receivers.aspx .

AA is backordered about two weeks on their first post-election orders, so I'd assume about a month on orders placed this week.

Thanks for the update. I wasn't sure, because they don't have any "In stock" or "Out of stock" labels on anything.

Still though, if they keep the prices the same when the spit out a new batch of lowers, I can't think of a reason to go with another brand right now, with all others jacking up prices.
