Man I have never in my life have ever seen it this crowded. One ammo dealer had a line so long it wrapped around the isle. I noticed a women had purchased 6K rounds of ammo and had to have it hand trucked out to her car. I spoke to a Texas gun dealer and he indicated that the wholesale price for the Saiga 12G is now $689.00. He said "it's a great gun but now I think it's overpriced". I am just glad that I started my real shopping in 2004. The irony is that a number of my friends thought I was overreacting in 2004 now three have called me in the last week. A gentleman I spoke with in line told me that last week at a gun show in Conroe Texas there were so many people the fire marshal was regulating the number of folks that could enter the building.

These are interesting times we live in.

I was wondering how busy it would be. I didn't have any money to spare, so I didn't go. Plus I figured that wouldn't be the place to find deals. How were the prices?

Just got back from the "Great Southern Gun Show" here in Jackson, MS only saw one Saiga12 and he was wanting $850. It was also his last one.
