I bought a BlackJack buffer for my Saiga but haven't tried it yet. I installed it last night but haven't been to the range yet. Has anyone tried them before and do they work? Since it reduces the length and timing of the stroke, does it create feeding and ejection problems?

Buffers are desgned to separate money from your wallet.

The only time I ever advise a buffer use is when a build party finishes and some poor bugger has cut his rails too much and his bolt carrier keeps popping out.

In this case, the buffer actually does help the funtion of the gun (since it's badly broken).

Recoil buffers on other platforms have been known to cause the receivers to crack.

On the Kalashnikov, if you think you need a buffer, you probably need a new recoil spring instead.
