A friend bought me a bipod from walmart thinkin it would fit my Saiga rifle. Well we got to trying it on and it wouldn't fit. I went to go get some cokes and came back and found out he unscrewed the swivel to see if it would fit. Well it didn't and I just put it on my Lee Enfield .303.

I went to try to put the swivel back on and now it won't screw in!

What should I do?

Did you perhaps means the "sling swivel"? It's called that because the sling goes through it.

If you're swinging your rifle, you're in deep doodoo.

The holes should line up if the rear screw is in place.

Yeah lol, I wasn't paying attention to what I was typing.

But what holes are you speaking about?

There is a hole under the front of the receiver and a hole through the hand guard that is under the gas block.

Yeah thanks, I found it.

Some how it was knocked out of position so I had to removed the hand guard and put it back in place.

Thanks again!
