AK-47s

Bulgaria usually puts out good stuff, I haven't used these particular mags though

Why, bulgy mags are usually good stuff. Though this "bullet pattern" is kinda... uh... lame?

Bulgarian polymer waffle mags from Factory 10 are top quality magazines. They are milspec and miltary issue.

The "bullet mags" are made for commecial use and not mispec or used by the military. They do not have the steel skeleton that is in the Bulgarian waffle mags. This skeleton provides steel at the fore and aft locking lugs, and also structural rigidity (a problem noted about the 'bullet mags').

CDNN has these mags labeled as "slabside" and are sans cartridge outlines. They do not have steel locking lugs front or back, they do however have steel feed lip reinforcement. They work very well and are much better quality than pro-mags. They also used to be $9.99-$12.00 thirty days ago.

I e-mailed the guy who has them for sale. He says they have the steel inserts around the top?

Yes, if you look at the big picture of the bullet mags, they have thin steel inserts held on by plastic pegs inserted during the extrusion process.

( The two hollows at the top of the mags are where the pegs holding the thin steel sheets in place are on the inside )

These mags are junk. I picked up 2 yesterday failing to realize they weren't the same as the waffle mags. Went to insert the empty mag in my bulgy ak and the front tab snapped off, under very little pressure. Looks like a trip back to the shop and pick up some steel mags instead.
