I got a Saiga in 7.62, but I hate, hate, hate the cheap handguard that comes with it.
I noticed that the Vepr is basically the same thing (almost) as the Saiga.

Are the front handguards interchangeable with Vepr's and Saiga's??

If so where Could I get a Vepr handguard?

NO they are NOT interchangeable without some tweaking or Dremel-Fu... It CAN be done... but its not a simple swap out...

Not trying to be a smart mouth, but what is so cheap about it in your opinion? I find the plastic to be very flexible and durable. The only thing I don't like about it is the way its attached to the front gas block with just that pin holding it there. My thinking is that it could cause a problem attached that way due to heat issues, other than that I find it very comfortable and ascetically pleasing if you vent it.

It's just sucky! That's all.
