My name is Jim Neugent. I wrote to ABC (on-line) concerning a program called 'THE PRACTICE.' In last nights episode, one of the lawyer's mothers decided she is gay and wanted her son to go to court and help her get a marriage license so she could marry her 'partner.' I sent the following letter to ABC yesterday and really did not expect a reply, but I did get one.

My original message was:

ABC is obsessed with the subject of homosexuality. I will no longer watch any of your attempts to convince the world that homosexuality is OK. ' THE PRACTICE' can be a fairly good show, but last night's program was so typical of your agenda. You picked the 'dufus' of the office to be the one who was against the idea of his mother being gay, and made him look like a whiner because he had convictions. This type of mentality calls people like me a 'gay basher.'

Read the first chapter of Romans (that's in the Bible); and see what the apostle Paul had to say about it.... He, God and Jesus were all 'gay bashers'. What if she'd fallen in love with her cocker spaniel? Is that an alternative life style? (By the way, the Bible speaks against that, too.)

How about getting your nose out of the Bible (which is ONLY a book of stories compiled by MANY different writers hundreds of years ago) and read the declaration of independence (what our nation is built on), where it says 'All Men are Created equal,' and try treating them that way for a change!

Or better yet, try thinking for yourself and stop using an archaic book of stories as your lame crutch for your existence. You are in the minority in this country, and your boycott will not affect us at ABC or our freedom of statement.

Thanks for your reply. From your harsh reply, evidently I hit a nerve. I will share it with all with whom I come in contact. Hopefully, the ArkansasDemocrat Newspaper will include it in one of their columns and I will be praying for you.

Thanks for sharing this. I think it's the signs of the times and our country needs to wake up or we will implode. With the new commander in chief coming in, I think our country is in for some hard times. I will share this news story with as many as possible and hope that we can all learn to fight the good fight like Mr. Neugent is doing.

I haven't seen the practice, but I used to watch Brothers and Sisters, which I now refuse to watch because of the blatant homosexual characters and all the stuff they show on it. Maybe they have a right to show it, but I don't have to watch it'.

I appreciate you sharing that, too. I don't know what the rules are on this site about post dealing with the Christian Faith, but I have GOT to say that anyone who thinks the Bible is just a 'collection of stories' written by overbearing men is sadly mistaken and they need to learn about how the Jewish society back then viewed women and then do a study on the Bible and see just how many women are held in high regard. That one point alone negates the 'collection of stories' theory. And that's as far as I'm gonna go about that because I don't know the rules.

About the ONLY thing we dont approve of is blatant racism, anything that is blatantly illegal ( such as how to manufacture a machine gun from household parts, etc..) and posting any pictures of animals/children in pornographic context. ( again, the illegal clause)...

Other than that... talk God all you want! If others dont agree, you will know it! LOL they will voice their ALTERNATE opinions right back at ya! If it gets too out of hand, it will be moved to the fight club section where things are allowed to get really rough...

Post pictures of all the beautiful women you want! We are all red blooded MEN here ( with a VERY FEW exceptions to the ladies that log on... and they are welcome to post pictures of their favorite beefcakes, should they wanna too!! ) and we believe that women are wonderful, beautiful beings, created by God and are held in the highest regards! We love to appreciate beauty in all its forms!! Whether its a sexy gun, a sexy woman, or a sexy machine... A thing of beauty is a joy forever!
