I have a dumb question about the FCG offered by dinzagarms.com If I am converting my saiga, should I buy the one that says Saiga x39? From what I have read the std G2 from tapco might need some of it milled off so the bolt will clear properly. Any advice on this so I don't buy the wrong thing would be greatly appricated.

No, the G2 will work fine.

If you choose to replace your BHO, you'll need to grind the hammer for that, but not for clearing the bolt carrier (all new FCGs require a teensy bit of "break in" between bolt carrier and hammer face - this does not inhibit function at all).

Dinzag offers the FCG for converted guns and unconverted guns, or as his site shows, pistol grip or factory. The "Saiga x39, 223, 410, 20" pistol grip "FCGPGC1" is just a G2 Tapco but Dinzag has reduced the hammer width for you, so it'll clear the BHO. For my 7.62 Saiga conversion, that's the one I ordered and it went in smooth and feels great. I like the AK retainer plate too.
