Will any AK lower HG retainer (or ferrule as I've heard them called) work for Dinzag's "customer supplied" bolt on HG retainer? I sent him a message but I'm a product of this internet generation and need to know yesterday

I'm confused about what you are after, the part displayed above is the retainer, you just put a normal AK hand guard behind it and clamp it on. I don't know what you would use a SKS retainer for.....

I think he's refering to Dinzags two prices. One is for purchase and another price is for if you supply a retainer for modification/swap.

It's rock solid and will work with standard AK front handguard furniture.

I have a yugo retainer I had a guy at work mill for me, I have not tried it out yet on my Saiga.

Prety much just milled it out so it looks like a FAL retainer.

You pop it on the barrel and toss a bolt through it. Maybe it will work maybe not, but it only cost $7.
