In the span of four months my wife's father and her only brother have died. We got the call this morning at 1:15 a.m. that her brother has passed away. This is going to be a difficult holiday season for her. If you have a moment, I'd appreciate a prayer on her behalf or a positive thought for her.

I don't pray much, but I'll say one. I can't imagine loosing one of my brothers.

Our life here passes away as quickly as smoke in comparison to eternity and yet we have the knowledge that we shall meet again in the "sweet by and by". Very sorry to hear of your families loss Warrior Judge. I used to fear death until I accepted the fact that none of us get out of it alive. It helps with the pain to remember that, for what little its worth.

My prayers are thoughts are with you and your family. It can be so hard when you lose family members. My wife also has had a difficult month. She lost both her folks with 12 days of each other. All we can do at times like these is to be there for our wives and help them through the hard times. The picture that appears with my post is of my father inlaw. Its from the early 60s when he was with the USAF Elite Guard. I chose it to honor his memory. He was a good man, a better man then me. Take care...............Ed
