Looks like one of the hunting dog may have caught up with and became more than friends with this ones mother.

Piebald deer are fairly common around here. Last fall I saw a bunch of charcoal grey deer with black down the center of their backs and black tails. This was at Big Meadows on Skyline drive.

Would that put them at a camouflage disadvantage? That is the main reason albinos are so rare. As honery and mean and a surprisingly good stalker as he was I am certain being snow white was my tom cat's downfall to becoming coyote late night snack.

That is one wild looking deer. Great camo if you're hanging with cattle of similiar markings. Have to say I have never seen anything like that.

Not that I've seen tons of deer, but I've never even heard of such a thing. That's crazy.
Anything specific cause this coloration?

That's one buck I'd have to mount just so people would believe you got a big 8-point Cow.

Excellent Bag!! That might have to be a full body mount. I would definitely keep the hide but not attached to the rack people might think it a calf. Anyway keep hunting and congrats!

I'll pass on the advice.
I've been informed that it is correctly called a "piebald" coloration.
