Dunham's Sporting Goods now sells the wasr AK47 in .22

Perfect for target shooting and ripping through rounds! A brick of 500 .22 rounds is what? about $8 at Walmart? I must have one. Looks like the rifle is a stock AK, just chambered for the .22lr So all the usual modifications and furnature swapping still applies. With 7.62 ammo getting difficult to find and costly, this is a great plinker rig!

If you don't have a Dunham's in yer town, you might want to look up Century Arms International. I think they are who supply Dunham's with thier goodies, but Im not 100% sure on that.

I bought one off of GunBroker, a RPK version. At first it had feed problems, but I got those cured by "trimming" some plastic from inside the magazines. It shoots much better, still has a few problems ejecting. Empties end up rattling arround everywhere inside the rifle. In spite of it all it is a very cool addition to my collection.
