[Scoping your 308]

Don't know what your budget is, but I've read good things about this scope.

Finally got around to getting my conversion finished up, figured I'd post some pics.

 

Saiga .308 with Tapco stock (until I can afford an ACE), Tapco G2 trigger and a BRG3 pistol grip.

Working on converting a wood stocked .308 and got a very nice finger grooved grip from BattleRifleG3. Was a pleasure to deal with, knowledgable and does great work. Thanks!

What type of round did you use? Weight and construction?

 

I hope to do some black bear hunting next year, trying to make my mine up on what rifle to use. 45/70 Lever, Saiga .308 or Savage .338 Winmag, but it looks like the Saiga did well for you.

I am perfectly happy with my .308 8-rounders, but if 20 rounders are available, then sure I'll take some. It's freedom of choice, not because I need them, but I'd like to have them. If the case is being made that high-cap aren't necessary, then being restricted to 10 rounds on all our firearms should be no big deal.

 

The way I see it, if you can have more, then why not.

 

Do people need a car that does over 85, or do people need a million dollar house, or do women need 100 pairs of shoes? Probably not, but it's their right.

 

If I'm allowed to have high-caps, then I will exercise that right.
