  1. Thanks it was definitely fun to complete and an accomplishment to shoot it afterwards, The stock is from anticommagirl and was shipped very fast. It's rock solid and I have no complaints, Not sure what next to add for mods because i like the iron sights.. maybe an updated version from css

  2. I'm proud to say that my first Saiga conversion is done!!! A little hard at first but once I was going it took a little over 3 hours. To anyone who says they need a shop to accomplish this is partially right...I did this in my living room with a 3/16 drill bit, a screw driver, towel, and a hammer. Pretty basic but I love her and she's mine forever!!

  4. I'm very interested in the wooden stock similar to nyclue3's (top of picture) s12. I already sent out $$ for anticommas girl stock. I love the wooden look on Aks and after doing some research I cannot afford the $499 gas tube setup from dinzag arms to put on a AK hand guard. What steps do I have to take to just have the bottom piece as a hand guard? Thankswhat.gif

  5. Thanks for the views expressed here. Some really good topics and opinions expressed here. I do believe that the U.S government is slowly disarming us though, and it's a very scary thought. I would def. fight for my life when it comes down to it because like some other posts stated, "I would rather die then be a slave". The Saiga 12 community needs to unite and prepare for this type of event HA! Could you imagine everyone joining together from the saiga 12 community to form one giant saiga army?super_man.gif

  6. Okay so everyone is talking if you'd rather have this or that in a SHTF or a apocalyptic situation....The zombie craze is a little funny and unrealistic to me but hey whatever makes your day. Point is if the economy really collapses and SHTF the military or FEMA is usually the first to respond. Who's to say they don't look up who has registered weapons and conduct raids to relieve you of your Gun & Ammo stockpiles? I heard somewhere once that police were going door to door in N.O. after Katrina to collect registered weapons. Might be bullshit but who knows? Ya you have tons of Gun's & Ammo but that's not gonna do much against a trained military team performing raids. I brought this up because the current situation with our gun rights is slowly diminishing. NWO is becoming more apparent and scarier then ever and realizing that if the goverment whats to take control, take our weapons and put us in "Camps" then there isn't shit we could really do about it. Just food for thought...prove me wrong...

  7. Thanks for the info Gunfun...Money isn't too tight right now so I'll take your word for it and pick up the JTE model. Is this magwell compatible with all magazines or does it favor a certain brand?

  8. Ok I purchased my extended mag release. I was wondering if anybody can point me in a direction for a quality magwell. One that is compatible with Drums and mags?(if possible)amazing.gif

  9. I'm looking into purchasing a extended Mag release because I Like the functionality of it. Does anyone make one for Drums and magazines? I'm really only going to use it for my 8 and 10 rd. mags but it would be cool to be able to pop my 20 rd drum in there as well with out having to take it off..amazing.gif ..

  10. Hello Saiga Forum,

Im currently living in Marietta, GA and have free reign when it come to purchasing parts, mags etc. Well do to the times and job oppurtunities Im moving up to Connecticut with my brother. I was just wondering if converted Saigas are illegal? I believe the law is you can only use 10 rd clips, but I jhust want to be safe before I bring my gun up. I'm also looking to purchase another 7.62x39 to dress with wood. I was also wondering if anyone in the ATL or surrounding areas(Kennasaw, Smyrna, Roswell) knew of the best deals on new saigas. The current one I have found is a new Saiga in box for $399.00. I'm really looking for one with a dimpled receiver so if anyone knows of any online dealers around that price let me know. I would search the web but I'm probably going to get in trouble at work for just writing this post.

    Thanks for your time,

    KJ
