  1. I've attached a list of chosen numbers as of 23:55 E.S.T. 09-02-2009.

    Thanks Mike.

    My numbers: 0357, 4735, 3472

There are A LOT of duplicate numbers. I just pumped the listed numbers into Open Office's Calc. as they were posted. So if you see your number as a duplicate, sorry, you'll have to figure it out. I also did not read the posts, so if you posted twice to state you changed your number, your new number is in the list, as well as your duplicate pick.

I also was pretty diligent in my data entry, but if I fucked up, I fucked up... you're not paying attention is not my fault or problem.

    Hi guys!

  2. ...... I'm stocking up on the stuff that can provide food for years if need be. I have 2 apple trees, 2 cherry, a pear, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, marion berries (most painful thorns), veg and herb gardens........ and the best part? It came with the house!

When that fails I'm going to systematically eat the old people in my neighborhood.

    Growing potatoes in tires: http://distributedliving.net/tirepotatoes.pdf

You don't need a whole lotta space to grow potatoes.

Make sure you buy heirloom seeds. The seeds you buy from box stores, hardware stores, and most everywhere else don't produce vegetables that the seeds can be used to replant.

This year I got my seeds from:

    http://www.highmowingseeds.com/

Here's another place that sells heirloom seeds that I hear a lot of very good things about:

    http://www.seedsavers.org/default.asp

Properly taken care of, seeds will last 3-4 years.

And definately fuck the GMO seeds.

  3. Thanks for the link 1911, I heard about it on the radio. My bad for the reference to wheat, although flour is pretty damn important.

I forgot to tie my initial post into the Amero... when the economy collapses, people will embrace the Amero for "safety and money "worth something" ". All in lieu American Sovernty.

Inflation is going crazy and will only get worse once the effects of the multiple billions of dollars that are being created to bale out the loan companies.... money that we average Joe Americans will feel the effect from. We're essentially paying to bail out the mortgage companies.

Welfare, Medicaid, and Social Security: these programs are bleeding the U.S. to death. The gov't (which in my opinion isn't there to take care of us from cradle to grave) has no place in taking care of people. The U.S. was created and set up for the gov't to take care of the infrastructure and security of the nation. That's another rant... I'll leave that be. (and yes, I do believe a small percentage of the people getting entitlement program benefits need help and should get it). By 2019, there will ONE PERSON WORKING TO TAKE CARE OF EIGHT ENTITLEMENT PROGRAM PEOPLE. You thing the gov't stealing 33% of your paychecks now is bad??? Just wait a few years.

    We're spending $2 billion a day overseas.

We're spending money we don't have.

These are some of the reasons our dollar is getting more and more worthless.

One of the biggest reasons this is all happening is because we are running a debt based currency system. As the article 1911 posted, this has been in place since the early 70's when the U.S.D. was not backed by silver/gold anymore.

When (not if) the economy collapses, people will embrace the Amero for "safety and money "worth something" ". All in lieu American Sovernty.

  4. Well, Ron Paul isn't happy with it...

Stop beating a dead horse moxie.... (just preparing you for a very possible reply from someone else, LOL)

The U.S. dollar is in serious trouble. The Fed and central bankers are doing a wonderful job of hiding the fact. We got food shortages across the globe, rationing of rice and wheat in New York as of right now. People think the rising price of fuel is based on supply... bullshit. It's because our dollar is worth less than ever. Same thing for everything else going up in cost.

  5. I've had different accounts with Paypal over the last seven years. With one account for an organization I was in charge of we had over $33k in and out and within 3 years and hundreds of transactions on it. There were a handful of problems and with enough patience and time invested, things USUALLY got worked out.

Same thing with a transaction I had from an eBay seller who screwed me. I jumped thorugh all Paypal and eBays hoops and it took me almost four months, dozens and dozens of e-mails and phone calls to have Paypal refund my money.

My advice to you if you open a PP account:

    1. Open a seperate bank account to link to PP. There are many instances where PP freezes accounts supposedly based on a glitch rather than someone doing something messed up. I personally don't want PP having any connection to my main bank account. Also only use the debit card for that new account for the PP account. Same thing as the account; I don't want PP having access to one of my main credit cards.

On the other hand, about 3 months ago I noticed two transactions via PP on my bank account statement for $50 each. I didn't do those and I called PP and they handled it relatively quickly. It did take 2 weeks for my money to be refunded though.

    2. I don't keep more than I'm willing to lose or get locked up for a bit of time in the PP balance or the bank account balance. If by some fluke they do freeze my PP account, they can only screw you out of the balance in the PP account.

Just like e-mails form banks; don't log into PP from the e-mail link. Also PP will always have your name in the e-mail to you.

Here's some bad PP info links...

    http://www.aboutpaypal.org/

    http://www.paypalsucks.com/

I don't use PP too much anymore, maybe 2-3 times a year. I am just leary from my experiences. Just be smart and careful and limit your risk.

  6. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, but found this interesting and thought I'd share. Just another reason to not shop there:

    http://www.reuters.com/articlePrint?articl...421318620080414

    Mon Apr 14, 2008 4:06pm EDT

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc, the world's largest retailer, unveiled plans on Monday to film its gun sales in the United States and create a computerized log of purchases in a bid to stop guns falling into the wrong hands.

Wal-Mart, which is the largest seller of firearms in the United States, agreed a 10-point code, which also includes rigid inventory controls, with a bipartisan coalition of Mayors Against Illegal Guns led by New York's Michael Bloomberg.

The retailer said it will develop a first-of-its-kind computerized crime gun trace log that will flag purchases by customers who have previously bought guns later recovered in crimes.

"Wal-Mart currently uses a strong point of sale system," said J.P. Suarez, senior vice president and chief compliance officer of Wal-Mart. "This code is a way for us to fine-tune the things we're already doing and further strengthen our standards. We hope other retailers will join us."

The Responsible Firearms Retailer Partnership is designed to strengthen the points in the gun purchasing system that criminals have exploited in the past, Wal-Mart and the Mayors Against Illegal Guns said.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, 46 percent of its criminal gun trafficking investigations involved cases in which someone who is not legally allowed to purchase a firearm does so through the use of a proxy, known as a straw buyer.

  7. A lot of great advice and info here for you 22_shooter, and anybody else thinking of getting a bike.

I''ve ridden a Ninja 250 and am quite familiar with them. My girlfriend at the time had one as that is what she learned to ride on. About 2 months later, she bought a late 90's Nija 600. My bike's gas tank sprung a leak and I was waiting for a replacement tank. A group ride was organized and she told me to take her 600, I told her no, you take your 600, I'll use the 250. Man what a blast that was, I truly did have fun on that bike. Keeping up with 1100 & 1200's on the 250...LOL

She gave me the 250 and I played on it for about a month. I wouldn't do much intertstate riding on it. I agree with everyone else here, I'd get a 600cc or so. If for some reason you are drawn to the 250, the thing about the 250 Ninja is that they hold their value very well. They don't last long on the "for sale" market. So you could get it, and you should be able to get rid of it rather easily when in a short time you wish to get a larger bike.

I wish I still had that 250 pretty much for the mpg factor. My bike get about 35mpg.

A few suggestions as what you may want to look at, used is good for a first bike. the highest risk for a wreck in regards to riding experience are 0-6 months and 25-36 months. It's way better to drop a used bike than a new bike.

Consider looking at naked bikes as when you do drop them, fully fairing bikes get costly to fix all the plastic.

An SV-650, dl600 (Vstrom), as well as Guido's suggestions.

One book I highly recommend it to get "Profiecient Motorcycling" by David Hough. Not the "More Proficient Motorcycling". It is by far in my opinion the best book on motorcycle riding for street riding. I re-read it every spring and have been since 2001. It's my riding bible.

Another cliche for you that is right on the money: Don't dress for the ride, dress for the fall... wear the gear!!!

  8. Heh, I almost like looking at the MidwayUSA fliers that come each month for new crap I probably don't need almost as much as Internet porn. ;)

Midway is definately cool Gaddis. Check out Natchez for killer deals also. Their e-mail specials are pretty good. Although I am not a big fan of the layout of their web site, I've had excellent service from them with a couple of scopes and few other misc. shit I've bought from them over the years:

    https://www.natchezss.com/index.cfm

To order their printed catalog that comes about once a month: https://www.natchezss.com/customerService.c...D=orderCatalogs

The page to sign up for their e-mail specials: https://www.natchezss.com/customerService.c...D=subscriptions

So for a "Rags is gonna reload update" for those who care:

I ordered my equipment over the weekend and should see it by the end of the week. I got everything I'll need other than powder and primers to start. I also ordered the 48th edition Lyman book.

I finally figured out the load I am gonna start with. It took me forever as the bullets I bought, I could not find a load for. I had numerous "this should work type" info, but since I am just starting out, I wanted "this is the load data". I called the bullet manufacturer and they gave me the loads for the two types of powder I am looking at using.

I went to Gander Mountain to get powder and primers and was so very disappointed in their reloading stock in general. All they has was Ramshot powders, which I am not looking to use. I have tomorrow off from work so I very well may make the 130 mile trek up to Cabella's. I hope I can find a place locally to order powder from at some point.

So hopefully I'll have a few pallets of cartridges loaded by next Sunday :lolol:

  9. Thanks everyone.

I got the Lee Modern Reloading 2cnd edit. manual. That helped out quite a bit as did this web page:

    http://www.handloads.com/articles/default.asp?id=33 .

Yeah Turbo, Mr. Lee gets a bit over exuberant in his "Lee is the greatest" multiple times in every section... but as you stated, the information provided was very helpful for me in understanding what and how to do this beyond; deprime, size, prime, add charge, seat and crimp.

Buck&a1/4-1/4staff and Gaddis, yep, I will get another manual for sure before I do my first run. It seems from the replies that the Lyman manual would be a great second choice of books along with the Lee manual.

I still am looking forward to reading the ABC's of Reloading. I have it on order at my library and #2 in the waiting line for it. So I hope to see it in April or so.

My game plan is to start with straight walled pistol, once I get the hang of that and the operation of the equipment, I will move on to rifle cartridges. From there, I very well move onto shotgun shells. Of course that seems simpler from my reading a little of this and that, but it's a whole new financial investment and learning endeavor.

    Thanks for the advice above!!!

  10. I've been thinking of reloading. I've read a fair amount on Al Gore's internet, and I get the basics... very basics as far as what I'll need and what I need to do.

Since I over think things, I also have questions that I haven't been able to find answers to. My over thinking has me looking for some reading/learning materials... which of course will be a good thing to do in my opinion rather than getting the equipment, and just going about what the instructions tell me to do. Of course I will not deviate from what the instructions say to do, but I feel knowing more in depth info is usually a wise thing.

Anyhow, I came across "The ABC's Of Reloading" and the 7th edition is near impossible to find as it is out of print until they come out with the 8th edition, which the publisher told me it should be out in May. This book seems to be the bible of reloading from many sources I found on the net.

So what now, since I can't my my paws on the bible of reloading for a few months?

I found Lee Precision has their Modern Reloading 2cnd edition. For those of you that are familiar with this book, does it have a good variety of topics? I don't particularly need load recipes (or I should say that is not what I am looking for at this point), but am looking for more in depth info on what benefit certain pieces of equipment have over what I'll need to do the basics. Why does this do that. Why should you do this rather than that.... info like that.

Many of the reloading manufacturers web sites seem to provide info for those that know about reloading and the super basic info.

I suppose I am looking for a "Reloading For Dummies" type of book.

  11. Even without Nader, Ron Paul is far from out of it. Take the time to read the following. I did not write it, but it is fact. Also for those of you who aren't aware, Ron Paul is a Republican running as republican. He is on the ballot in most if not all states. He will not be a write in for the primaries.

I know many of you are new to the election process but don't worry.

I am going to go into some depth of how this all works so read and then read again if you need to.

The MSM is not reporting how to become the nominee in a situation like this so i will tell you to stop getting your info from the MSM.

I know many of you are bummed about yesterday BUT THAT IS BECAUSE YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THE ELECTION SYSTEM WORKS : Let me explain to you the reality of how to become the nominee.

First stop looking at who wins each states popular vote for most of these states the vote by the people is really nothing but a straw poll and have no real bearing on who will become the nominee. The only way this matters is if 1 person receives 1191 delegates that are bound by state rules to be commited to that candidate. So if a candiate like Mccain has 600 delegates now and IF he doesn't reach 1191 WHICH HE WILL NOT most of the delegates the state awarded him mean nothing and keep in mind in most of the states most of the people that represent the 600 for Mccain are actually Ron Paul supporters. NOW there is no possible way that anyone in the race can achieve this goal now because of the major split in state wins by the candidates.

Normally Convention Delegates do not matter because the convention is not brokered and we have a clear winner because someone has 1191 delegates. BUT THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT. This will be a brokered convention there is no way around it. Do you see how the ronpaul campaign strategy will work.

When a candidate wins delegates by winning a primary that does not mean there are actual people that won acting as delegates- these are virtual delegates.

What do I mean by virtual delegates: A virtual delegate is just a number - there are no actual people YET that will go and vote for the candidate who won the particular state at the national convention. We call these people convention delegates

The actual delegates are voted on (in most states) at a statewide delegate caucus after the Primary (which is just a giant preference poll) Who can be delegates? Anyone. In closed Primary states they must be registered Republicans, in Open Primary states they can be Republicans, Democrats, Independents.

And we have lots of delegates.

Out of the 2,380 delegates sent to Minneapolis St. Paul in September-

-463 delegates are bound all the way through the convention some of those 463 are Ron Pauls people.

    - 565 delegates will be bound through one ballot. That is, they have to follow the results of the state election on the first ballot. After that, if no candidate has a majority of delegates, they are free to vote as they please and Mccain will not receive over 50% on the first ballot.

    - 383 will be bound through two ballots then they are free to vote for whom they wish.

    - 318 will be bound through three ballots then they are free to vote for whom they wish.

I am not going to list every state and what the break downs are, just do the math from these numbers or look for yourself here :

    http://www.gop.com/Images...

Bottom line is less than 1/2 of the delegates are bound by state party rules. Now do you see how we can win this thing?

So what happens now you ask? You look at the number of delegates that Dr. Paul has that are uncommited to the other candidates and will support him. these delegates are not decided by the popular vote ie: straw poll of the people. Since no one will have enough delegates to skate them through to the nomination we now must look at how many delegates NOT VOTES but delegates Dr. Paul has that are 100% uncommited to the other candidates and will be 100% for Dr. Paul and are free to vote for whom they wish.

This race will go all the way to the convention for there is no other way for someone to receive the nomintaion untill the convention.

The RNC will convene its annual Winter Meeting - and voters will continue to cast their ballots in the nation's primaries and caucuses. Candidates for delegate and alternate delegate to the convention will be elected - and thousands of convention participants and guests will begin planning their trips to Minneapolis-Saint Paul The first week in September 2008

SO WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

This means that all of the people that registered to become a deligate for Dr. Paul can go to the convention and cast thier vote for Dr. Paul, now think about what i just said : Do you think for one second that all the people that voted for Dr. Paul and filed to become a deligate will not show up at the convention to vote for the good Doctor? Of course they will just like they battled the rain and the sleet and the 15 below zero winter weather to knock on doors and wave signs spreading our message.

Now i assure you that even though we didn't win the popular vote in many states WE DID PICK UP THE MAJORITY OF DELEGATES THAN ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES IN MOST EVERY STATE EXCEPT A FEW. So yes they won the straw poll and we won what counts which is delegates.

Doesn't Dr. Paul need to WIN 5 states to be on the ballot at the convention for the nomination?

NO THIS IS NOT TRUE for people were just confused on how it actually works.

We only need the majority of delegates from 5 states to be put on the ballot NOT THE POPULAR VOTE OF 5 STATES and i assure you we have picked up the majority of uncommitted delegates for Dr. Paul in more than 5 states.

Do any of you remember seeing posts by myself and many others that said BECOME A DELEGATE? There is still time in most states to become a delegate for the convention and we are picking up more of them every day.

So please STOP! you worry too much because you do not understand how the election system works and you thought we lost didn't you? I assure you we have not!

The fact is Dr. Paul is a genius in his strategy and we are further ahead in delegates than you think and we can win the nomination.

I hope this gives a better understanding of how we have been winning even though most of you thought we were not.

  12. Ragnarock, I enjoy discussions with you and I'm not here to piss you off. But I've said before and I'll say again, Paul isn't electable because he doesn't have the name recognition. Should everyone that votes know who the heck is running. Duh? Yeah. But do you really think that everyone that votes goes online and researches all the candidates? I mean no disrespect but if you do, you're naive. Most people don't spend the time on the computer to do the research like we do. They get there 'news' from the MSM and they believe it. I know it sucks but that's the way it is. As I've said before, get this mans name out there. Do all you can to help him and maybe we'll only have 4 years of hell. It's up to people like you who are die hard believers.

If you all write in Pauls name, either the bitch or the empty suit WILL win. It truly sucks but it's true.

How about this? You guys write to the RNC and the DNC if you live in states that have no voice in the matter when it comes to the primaries, like me. I don't even have mine until May. Me and my fellow North Carolinians have had no voice in regards to who is the Republican nominee. I will definitely be writing both parties to state how I feel.

    No problems Sandi :).

I agree whole heartedly with you that probably a large majority of people don't do much research other than what they are fed from the media. That's where the test should come in... right?

As I stated, I think in your "SHTF" thread, that's why people who believe in RP, as about 50% of those who also replied in that thread need to get off their asses and help get that name recognition out there. I have literature dropped over 750 houses in my area, with 2 more precincts (approx. 1600 homes) hopefully to get done by our primary in 13 days. After a precinct is done, they are followed up with a phone call. I also have plastered my metro area with 300 pole signs 7"x30" wide. I've burnt hundreds of DVD's and passed them out, left them at coffee shops and such.

I am hardly alone, there are hundreds of thousands of us calling, writing letters, canvassing, etc. throughout the country. People who would rather help with name recognition than sit there and vote for "the lesser of two evils" and assumptively blame others for a possibly worse than bad outcome come November; when in fact, they share part of the blame if the democraps get into office because instead of voting for who they agree with the most... they vote for a different piece of shit because of a perception effect caused by what the media is planting in most people's heads.

Also as I've stated before in various threads, this one included; McCain doesn't have the juice (money, character, plans, and policies) to beat either of the Democraps. Even If he was the only one running Sandi, he still won't win. He doesn't have the majority of backing from the RNC, Democraps won't jump over and support him based on his stated policies and plans (as Republicans are doing with Obama), Republicans are jumping ship either because they are disenfranchised with the party, or simply because they don't like McCain. The only support Hucklebee has are the religious folks. If that is their primary thing they are basing their vote on and they did their research, they'd back RP as well. Basing that on Hucklebee's radical religious endorsements given to him that he advertised as well as his voting record and other actions that clearly go against him being a truly spiritual person.

About you having no voice due to the date of your primary; I agree. I feel all the primaries should be on the same day for 24 hours. Open the polls at 12am est/9pm pst and run them for 24 hours. I feel as you stated, in late states primaries, those states get screwed. Another benefit of this plan is that unfortunately many people vote to be on a winning side. So I do believe that when the left side of the country people see that candidate abc is winning a right side of the country state, they're gonna vote for abc because they want to be on the winning side. Stoopid people. That's just like voting for something/someone based on how many lawn signs you see. I truly think if all the voting was at the same time for the entire country, it would eliminate the late voting "no voice" such as in your instance, as well as the media slanting the vote by reporting and people wanting to be on the winning side. A side note, in Wisconsin's primary last night, CNN was reporting McCain the winner WITH 0% REPORTING.

LOL, that's enough for now.. I'd imagine we shall continue this another time :)

  13. McCain 918

    Romney 286

    Huckster 217

    Paul 16

I'm no political analyst, but I'd say its gonna be McCain.

These numbers were from 13 Feb.

McCain needs 395 bound delegates to reach 1191

    Of the remaining states:

    texas - 137 bound and 3 unbound

    ohio - 88 UNBOUND

South Dakota - 24 bound and 3 unbound

    wisconsin - 37 bound and 3 unbound

    vermont - 17 bound

    idaho - 26 bound and 6 unbound

    hawaii - 20 bound

    pennsylvannia - 74 UNBOUND

    oregon - 27 bound and 3 unbound

puerto rico - 20 bound and 3 unbound

    north carolina - 69 bound

    indianna - 27 bound and 30 UNBOUND

    kentucky - 45 bound

    mississippi - 36 bound and 3 unbound

    RI - 17 bound and 3 unbound

    nebraska - 30 bound and 3 unbound

new mexico - 29 bound and 3 unbound

    .

There are 561 bound delegates left of which McCain must win 71% of to reach 1191.....now when was the last time he won with 71% of the vote?

Now Hucklebee will probably win nebraska, kentucky, miss, and SD.......if this happens, then McCain would have to win just about every remaining delegate, and that is not likely to happen.

If McCain doesn't get those 71%, then the delegates at the convention need to give hime 51% of their votes. If he doesn't get the 51%, then there is a re-vote WITH ALL DELEGATES UNBOUND. Also keep in mind, all the candidates who dropped... their delegates are unbound.

Since the CFR bailed on pushing Hucklebee, he is now wanting a brokered convention. This would benefit Ron Paul tremendously. Ron Paul is getting robbed of votes left and right. In La., for example, RP should have 48 delegates from La. alone, but they fucked him out of those. This is why the brokered convention would benefit him.

  14. I can't stand McCain but would somebody tell me what good it will do letting Osama Obama or Hitlery Klinton win by voting for Ron Paul or Huckabee? Educate me, just wondering.

    1911

What good will it do by voting for Ron Paul is simply he is the only one who can take on Obama or Clinton. The undecided voters will go Democrap over McCain or Hucklebee. When most people are given the chance to hear Dr. Paul, they are on board with honesty, integrity, and TRUE change, not lip service change. I assume you're a republican 1911. You can't stand McCain, and you are hardly in the minority of Republicans.

If you don't want Hillary or Obama, think real hard before you vote for someone who can't take them on once the general election is in effect.

Americans are tired if not totally disgusted with the Republican Party. Ron Paul can beat Hillary or Obama as well as he is the one most likely to save the party.

Don't buy into the he can't win b.s. Run the numbers on delegates... McCain is not a lock for the nomination. This can very likely result in a brokered convention.
