Hi Mike,
My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but my eyes were blurring from reading through all the posts:
What is the approximate diameter of the drum?
Also thank you for answering my e-mail from your web site yesterday

Just a heads up for you all. I was at the gun show at the Orlando fairgrounds today and this one dealer in the main building had new synthetic 308's for $330.
He was in one of the corners, up against a wall. If I am not mistaken it was in the east end of the building.

Disregard

Man some of you guys are funny. Posts here and there saying how lame it is when the two makers of the 10 rounders haven't said boo and no updates.
So here is Illumini giving us an update, not news, but an update and he's catching flack for it.
I appreciate the update Illumini, thank you.

poop
too late.
It'll repeat at 03:00 e.s.t.
I was pretty interesting to me. I thought it had good info... basic, but good.

Guns of the WorldGuns of the Russian Military.
Tune In: Wednesday, May 3 @ 11pm ET/PT
Forged in Europe's shadow, Russian small arms were once dismissed as crude copies. Often lacking the finish of Western counterparts, Russian guns have been battle-proven worldwide, with their emphasis on robustness and simplicity of design. Review the long history of Russian small arms--from Peter the Great to the Cold War. TVPG

Indy.
I am pretty much a lurker here with most all of my few posts at the 12 forum. The reason I bring that up is because I have only a couple handfuls of posts, maybe my post here will fall upon deaf eyes. Also the reason I don't post often is simply because I am not nearly as knowledged to answer the posts as most everyone else.
Indy brings up great points; comraderie, educating, and DECENCY.
If someone is that much of a P.O.S. that they're gonna take advantage of someone and then get all dickey when someone points out the deal, go over to eBay and charge $50 for s/h on a domestic 1 lb. package.
I am an educated buyer, but if I didn't know, I'd appreciate someone looking out for me.
Also on that note, I agree with vulcan762; maybe this would've been handled a bit better via PM. No offense meant Indy.

Thank you Rusty. I am of course going to go with a Saiga.
I figured out about 2 years ago that I'll stick with Glocks and Saigas... simplicty and dependability.

Howdy,
I am about ready to get either .308 or a 30-06.
I am curious as to which ammunition is more readily available. If the shit ever hits the fan, is why I ask.
Thanks.

I won't support Tapco because I wouldn't want to take any money away from Z1500 who is the man.
Tapco? Yawn...
I agree with you almost completely. Ian and/or Kevin will get my money way before Tapco would... I always have and will support the "small guy".
But, having another option available is never a bad thing.

E-mail sent.
Thanks for the heads up TacticalResponse.

Thanks Z1500.
I am sure you have decided on your production method, and I am glad you went the better way.
Put me down as one who'll pay more for more quality.
I am one who'll pay more for quality in whatever I purchase whether it be a lawn mower, a pencil, whatever, but when it comes to a magazine for something that needs to be reliable, I can't even believe some folks would rather pay less for less of an item.

Too bad, they sound like fun.

Anyone shoot slugs out of thier S-12's?
Thanks,
Doug
I shoot mostly slugs or 00.
3" magnum slugs are awefully fun.
Just make sure you set your gas setting to #1 for the magnum slugs. I didn't and it deformed the rear trunion block. Thanks to Cobra 76 two for troubleshooting that for me a few months back.

-
That was most likely caused by shooting magnum loads on the wrong gas setting (2).
When you do that the bolt slams into the rear trunion block with enough force to deform the steel around that slot. Just take a small file and open up the front edge of the slot where it has been mangled. I would suggest a recoil buffer to avoid further damage and only shoot magnums on the #1 gas setting.
Thank you Cobra, yeah I shoot a lot of 3" Magnum slugs. I will also take oyur advice about the recoil buffer and the #1 setting.
Thanks again.
What loads do you use #2 for?

I would prefer 10 rd's, but either will be purchased by me. As for ribbed/waffle, that makes no difference to me.
I will over time buy 6-10 of whatever you come up with.
Thank you Z1500

Yep, thieves suck. Sorry for the loss of your weapon.
I don't mean the following as a flame or anything of that nature;
When I have any of my weapons in my vehicle, I am ultra paranoid. I installed a lock box in the floor of my extended cab in my truck. Even when my CCW pistol is in there and I am not in the truck, my thoughts are always on that pistol being in that truck.
I have a friend I shoot with on occasion, we were at an indoor range one day with another friend and when we finished up we planned on going to lunch. My first buddy said loudly enough where we were gonna meet for lunch in the store area. We got out to the parking lot and I pointed out his screw up and we changed lunch locations. Nothing like advertising where a bunch of firearms are going to be while you're not there for 45 minutes.
My firearms are my responsibility and I want to make sure they are as safe as can be for a couple of reasons; I don't want to be out a bunch of money even though none of my firearms are anything special, I also don't want to be indirectly responsible for any one getting hurt because of my carelessness.
Again, please don't read any flaming in my post, that isn't my intention.

Thanks guys. Is this what you saw Shep:

"Capacity of black fiber-reinforced polyamide magazines..."

Nope, not the one asking "where can I get", but what I've been curious about is what kind of plastic are the factory mags made out of.
Thanks!!!
