    This is from a member on another forum from Altoona PA

     

    Announcement: I went into Dick's Sporting good to buy a 100 round brick of 12 Gauge for some upcoming clay shooting (because they had it in stock). I went to pay with cash and the person at the register pointed to the touch-pad and asked me to VERIFY MY CITIZENSHIP! I told her no, I didn't have to do that. She said if I wanted to buy ammo at Dicks' I had to. I said no again. She asked to see my ID so she could verify it herself. I pushed the ammo back across the counter and told her to forget it. I'll never go back. Don't give in people.

    I love some Floyd, but really love it remixed or in a mash-up. Blake Jerrel did an incredible mash of "Comfortably Numb" on ASOT 400 in 2009. I've been a fan of Floyd and electronic music for most of my life. I used to listen to Kraftwerk with my Dad way back in the early '80s, for some perspective. "Comfortably Numb" has always been my favorite, with "Run like Hell" coming in at a very close second. I was going to see them in the early '90s and my bitch girlfriend threw a fit, so I didn't go. Shortly after that, they announced that it would be their last tour. Same shit happened with Nirvana except Cobain lost his gray matter in a bungalow. I was pissed and help a deep hatred for her from then on. I wasn't the man I am now. These days I would have told her to make sure she and all of her shit is gone when I get back.

    And with my shitty luck she would have ended up at my housebeaten.gif

    Not quite sure how to describe the finish (its milled) but I'll try

     

    Nice semi gloss looking black.....doesnt give a "bare metal" scratch with the safety lever nub......but I am going to follow the suggestion of KVAR and buy some CLP for my cleaning\oiling

     

     

    Pictures will tell a better story and I wont have a chance to fire it until next week (tons of Overtime this week), but it should shoot exactly like my SAM7K and it is awesome smooth as butter

    Just handled one at the gunstore yesterday. Made me jizz in my pants. It utterly shit on the Wasr and IO inc. AK next to it. You will soon possess maybe the nicest AK on the market. Very jealous and congrats!

    How did you like the stock? Havent been a fan of the polymers, but I've always tried the cheap ones.....

    Anyone own either of them? I have read that the SAM7R-61 is the new SLR-101?

    Usually in stock? Not to be negative, but everything used to be usually in stock.

     

    Good luck though.

    This "usually in stock" was from a fellow "Brother in Arms". He said that he got ammo there and had no problem.

     

    Thier policy is that they dont charge any type of fee if you cancel and free shipping over $150....so I figure nothing to lose

     

    And hopefully we all can benefit and enjoy some small caliber shooting
