  1. Super fast shipping and great deals! 1 more Happy Customer. Will be buying the rest of my conversion very soon. Kinda wondering if the Tapco folding stock will be in the way of the trigger when folded though. With the trigger moved up.
  2. well theres u some 10 rounders with a metal lip
  3. heh. My browser was lagging. Couldnt find a way to delete the extra post either.
  4. Drum magazines for the Saiga 12 can be made to work with either 2-3/4" or 3" shells but not both (similar to how the Saiga 20's box magazines are made in two different variations, those for 2-3/4" shells and those for 3" shells). Mike made the MD-20 to handle 2-3/4" shells simply because 2-3/4" ammo is more popular than 3" ammo for the 12 gauge. Also, Mike has said that he will eventually be making a 3" drum at some point, but right now he is of course focused on bringing his double-stack box magazines to market. Unlike the polymer Saiga 12 box magazines made by AGP, Promag, and Surefire,
  5. So I just watched the DIY Video on Carolinashooterssupply.com for installing a new Trigger group. At one point he mentions the need to grind 1/20th("50/1000ths") of an inch from part of the hammer for the BHO. How precise does this have to be? I am a welder, not a machinist.. I was looking at Tromix's modified FCG. Is it already ground for the BHO?? Any advantages?
  6. If your factory hand guard breaks, and you replace it with a nice hand made (in the USA) wood hand guard, have you manufactured an "evil (non importable) shotgun"? Hell, I dunno. I was going by what this program told me. http://jobson.us/922r/ I am putting on a synthetic hand guard with 3 rails and a foregrip. My definition of evil is probably to a much higher degree than most anyways.. hard to know what someone else would consider evil. The law is written down here in stickies just to be read. To save you the trouble: Replacing the hand guard will not cause the ri

  8. O wow, so once I put a USA foregrip on my Saiga 12, no more factory mag until I put on 3 more pieces??
  9. haha just messin around, Thanks for the advice. Do u ever shoot 3" magnum 00 buck through the 12 rounders? Just pulled up a year old thread warning against. Apparently a full 12 mag of 3" magnum 00 buck tends to break the surefires?? http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=34225&st=30&p=461986&fromsearch=1entry461986
  10. Unsresolved after a year?? If so you would think they would put out some sort of disclaimer upon purchase. I just purchased a 12 and a 10 round surefire mag.
  11. And one more Q for today. Surefire or AGP 10 round mags??
  12. Ok so I am going to go test the cycling today, I got some 2 3/4" Winchester Super X High Brass 1 1/4 oz Game Loads for gas setting #2. Then Some 2 Remington 3" Magnum 00 Buck for gas setting #1. Also, I bought some 2 3/4" Remington Slugger Rifled Slugs, 1 oz.. Would they be better suited for #1 or #2 setting?
  13. Well I bought it today, so I am going to test it out before I void any kind of warranty by converting. Just figured it would be less time consuming to shoot off a hundred rounds or so if I had some higher cap mags.
  14. Also, is it legal to have a 10 round mag with the stock Russian parts?
  15. Im about to order (2) 10-round AGP Mags from this site, How long do they usually take to ship??
  16. Yeah, youre probably right. So, #2 for heavy loads, and #1 for the lighter? Slugs and Trap?
  17. Sweet, thanks for the quick responses. Just took it apart for the first time and put it back together. Time to mod this baby out.
  18. When I tilt my brand new Saiga up and down, I can hear something sliding around in there.. Is that normal?
