What was the install on that magwell like? I just ordered mine yesterday, I'll install it as soon as it comes in.

 

Fairly easy if you mod the magazine.

But it depends what you want to do.

I modded the magwell to the mags, rather than modding the mags for the magwell.

Modding the magwell will take much longer. It took me days with my limited amount of tools at the time.

 

(After modding magazines to fit into the magwell.)

 

#1 Strip the firearm.

#2 Insert the magazine into the magwell.

#3 Lock the magazine into the firearm ensuring it is seated fully. (As far up/in as it can go.)

#4 Slide the magwell flush to the receiver.

#5 Drill and tap holes.

#6 Screw bolts into holes using locktite.

#7 Remove Magazine and ensure the magwell and mags are working correctly together.

#8 Clean the firearm inside and out.
