I have the Tromix mini monster on my S-12 and love it. My 14 and 8 year old son and daughter have shot the weapon by themselves and never dropped the weapon or were scared of the recoil. I have a bad shoulder from jumping into a bunker while deployed and even after 300 rounds I don't feel it the next morning. I do have to say the mini monster is the only brake I have so I am sure there are better ones out there. But for my money I like the look and productivity of the mini monster. IMHO

I have one on my unconverted S-12, and I love it. The recoil is still enough to cycle the gun and my shoulder doesn't have to feel it at the end of the day. Mine also has the scorpion grip which is very comfortable.

MT Predator. Thats awesome. I have the tachometer from that truck in garage. I couldn't just leave it there without something in hand.lol

The mini monster is a great choice. I have one on my S-12 and I love it. I have to say I do not have another brake to compare to, but when I get another S-12 it will be a no brainer what is going on the front of it.

Bob I also run an un-converted S-12 with an aftermarket aluminum forearm. It is a great product and with it being aluminum I was able to drill my own holes into it, buy ($10) a single picatinny rail for an AR and place the forearm grip on that I wanted for minimal cash. Hard choice good luck

The ATI 6 point stock with the phoenix pistol grip is a great recoil absorbing stock. I have one and with my mini monster break and the recoil on my S-12 is almost non existent. However there are many choices out there for many different amounts. Good luck with a difficult choice.

We can always use back Up !! I have seen these things get big. Last one I saw was through my .308 scope at about 150yards and his tusks took up most of the sights. It was amazing. He took a .308 bullet to the head and the son of a gun kept going. Or I missed. I like my version better.

Looks like we missed the party. I will be taking my S-12 out in a couple of weeks in Leakey TX. Russian boars running rampant out there. Great Pics

I just recently bought the Mini-monster brake for my S-12 and I love it. Before I put it on I could put 100 rounds of #2 steel shot through my gun and my shoulder would feel it. With the brake on I have no problems shooting the gun with the same ammo from the hip with one hand. The is very little recoil, I then put on an ATI 6 point butt stock with a Scorpion grip and the recoil almost disappeared. I was impressed with the mini monster. This is my first S-12 so I have to say I have not tried any other brakes or muzzle devices. Saying that, this brake would be hard to give up on my next build.

I have the Tromix Mini-Monster Brake and it is well worth it. It is not as big as its Big Brother and still performs great. I have shot light bird shot, heavy steel shot, and buck shot out of it without any problems. It also looks cool.
