As close as possible. Fun? Not yet. So far, a pain in the Aztec trying to source the right parts.just depends on how close to the original you want it to be....sounds fun, good luck!
-
Then again maybe not, so I'll pose the question again. Anyone build an S410K-04 and what mods, if any, did you have to do to the parts?
-
Disregard. Did a search and it looks like I found the majority of the answers to my questions.

Have a plain Jane S410 I converted to a 100 series type sidefolder awhile back. Would like to turn it into a S410K ver.04 and SBS it.
What do I need for that front end?
Which rear sight base?
Which front sight/gas block combo, gas tube and muzzle brake?
Standard "Krink" handguards?
Anyone ever done one of these?

I'll take them. Email sent.

The holes are already there. Poke around and you will find them. They are VERY well hidden along the horizontal ribs of that buttpad.

Good comms & fast shipping. Item as advertised or better.

Wish FOPA '86 wouldn't have killed the full auto conversion business.I hate the way the forum software is handling quoting these days.Anyway, it should be noted that FOPA '86 was an overwhelmingly good piece of legislation for firearms owners, and that the Hughes Amendment was illegally added in at the last minute by Charlie Rangel and Co. It's not even clear that Reagan knew it was in there, or that it was actually in the version he received before signing.

WOW! And that's with a factory mag? You REALLY got lucky!
Interesting. Guess I got lucky. I didn't have to trim the tab so it would clear the last round bolt hold open lever. Just had to cut out that notch below the lug.The only thing you need to do to make the vepr mags work with the 433 is to trim the tab so that it clears the last round bolt hold open lever, and the magazine latch.
FWIW, I didn't have to trim any tab or cut out the notch below the lug.

Man, I must have been REALLY LUCKY to have seven unmodified factory mags that work perfectly in my gun without a hitch. Wow, what do you think the chances were of that happening? Must have been a down right miracle!...Does everyone know that the coveted factory mags are not all identical and are actually fitted to each firearm? it is true, when the rear metal locking lug is inserted it is fitted to the specific firearm then painted... -

F*&ked up and hit the post before I added text. The mag on the left is the factory Saiga-12 magwell while the one on the right is the Molot Vepr-12 magwell mag. You have to cut a notch below the lug on the Vepr mag.

Does that fit a magwell gun?
...derp, I didnt click on the picture. Looks like its for a 7.62x39. Maybe even for a magwell gun. Good call
Oops, just noticed that's for a 7.62x39. Nevermind.

I think a 12ga shotgun should have either or metal or wood stock ,I don't think plastic or polymer belong on shotgun do to recoil specially folder.
I they were made Ar10-15 and M4 platform lot less recoil plastic is plastic it just doesn't live forever actually it should stay on airsoft guns.
I like my ace stock and folder all aluminum

100 series Russian folder. Hands down the best option out there. Now, price and effort to install might be of concern. But, if you want the best there it is.
I concur.

FWIW, I have coverted IZ433's. They came with the 4 round mags. I finally found some VEPR 12 10 rounders and they work flawlessly. Feed Cycle, and LRBHO works as advertised. Again this is with the Vepr 12 10 round magazines.
Vepr-12 10rd. mags? Are they Russian or U.S. aftermarket?

Here's a comparison. S-12 on left vs. Vepr-12 on right. As you can see. The S-12 mag has a rectangular cutout below the lug for the mag catch to lock into.
As far as the bolt hold open, I had no issues with the Vepr mag. Only mod I did to the Vepr was cutting that slot out so the catch would lock and that's it. Everything else worked just fine.

Converted a Vepr-12 to work in my S-12 yesterday, so it obviously can work with modification.
I would suggest that you just hang in there until Legion gets more factory S-12 magwell mags in. Cost between the factory Vepr-12 vs. S-12 mags is close. Molot $112.27 shipped vs. Legion S-12 $109.00 shipped.

Picked up another Molot Vepr-12 factory mag and it didn't fit my Saiga-12 ver. 030 either. Compared it to the S-12 magwell factory mags and noticed the rectangular slot under the lug which was not present on the Molot mag. Went and cut the slot out on the Molot (pain in the ass) and now she fits. Locks up nice and seems to function fine by hand cycling and the bolt hold open works with no mods. Obviously, it can be done. Don't know why anyone would want to at this point since the factory S-12 mags are available off and on for the same price as the Vepr-12 mags ($109 vs. $112.27) basically.
