[Recoil?]

...and the FA USAS-12 is a beast !! However, it's a heavy weapon, and keeping it tucked tight into your shoulder basically eliminates the "arm beat to shit" problem....... Damn sure throws the lead out there !

With more exposure to it, I might even be able to work out keeping the muzzle down in FA !! Really fun to shoot !!

We've been married 18 years now..........that's longer than the other 3 wives put together at this point ! Finally, a woman who understands me ! She's signing up for her CCW classes this fall.............

Personally, I feel that hard recoil is one of the pleasures of shooting.

Never, ever gonna kick like a 22-short plinker.......... How much of an appreciable softening can you reasonably expect running 12-gauge 3" mags.......and that thump lets me know things are going well .......helps me focus, as it were........

[How do you support your gun habit?]

I'm the Construction Project Coordinator for a civil engineering firm......I oversee projects of various types (water systems, sewer systems, treatment plants for both applications, roads, subdivisions, anything of a civil engineering nature) from Day 1 to completion.

.......essentially state-wide in Arkansas. I get to go to exciting places and meet strange people .....Nothing in the world like working a huge federal rural water project...... Better'n TV.....

......and, adequately supports my gun/ammo habit !

.......I lived in south Louisiana for a number of years, and was adopted into that particular culture by the local New Orleans 'yats I was fortunate enough to meet ! Worked and played with a lot of Cajun (Acadian) crazies all over south LA. for years..........."Jeaux" is the south Louisiana version of "Joe", and "E" is my last name initial. (Lived in Wisconsin and worked in Chicago for many years after that, but the folks up there heard the southern accent and automatically deducted about 30 I.Q. points from me.......fortunately, they CAN be educated to the contrary....) (Who's the ones that are ignorant?? Look at their gun laws in Illinois & Wisconsin........... Jeez.........)

I now live back in Arkansas, seen described in this forum as the "armpit of america", which I really won't argue........... but at least we also have the right to legally hang large caliber handguns under our armpits.

Also, I'm close enough to Tony's shop to drive over and place my order in person......Good enough for me !!!
