  1. my process is simple. 12 guage bore brushes through the barrel and gas port. Scrub the crap off the puck....When it gets super dirty after a few hundred rounds, I pull out the guts and use brake clean then lube the whole thing down with my favorite gun lube. Lube....I like lube.

  2. this shit pisses me off every time I see/read it. Why send everything over seas? I work on a lot of german cars and the biggest thing I see when I open a box with a random car part is that brake pad for that, for example, BMW 335, is MADE IN GERMANY! VW is the biggest and most succsessful car company on earth now making a solid good quality product. Cars made in Germany by well paid german people yet they still build cars that a competitivly priced to everything else in the market. Why cant the USA do it anymore?

  3. Best thing for a 10/22 is to shoot the crap out of it. The more they shoot the smoother they seem to get.

As far as a barrel, Tactical Solutions has an awesome aluminum barrel with a steel liner for the barrel. I was skeptical at first when my buddy got one for his. But you can take out golf balls at 125 yards! Really cool hitting little stuuf like that. I got a quarter with his decked out 10/22 at 100 yards. Then I showed him up with a dime with my .17hmr

  4. "Red Dawn 2: America still kicks ass!"

Except for it's government. Hence the need for civilian involvement.

PR China does seem the logical antagonist. I would see them invading Russia, and Alaska for oil and minerals. There's your premise.

Dont think invading Alaska would be a good idea. Everybody has guns. Even people I would never imagine has guns. Buying guns up here is super easy. They would need a hell of an army to take us.

And Red Dawn was awesome! When I first saw it a couple of years ago I was surprised. I did not know it was such a serious movie! A remake with china or north korea would be scary but good. Just please keep Micheal Bay away from it. He ruins everything.

  5. I skipped work for a day and just spent a few hours with some sand paper and a dremel. Its a fun gun if you like tinkering with stuuf. Im an auto tech so mine has been apart and back together quite a bit. Just that little bit of polishing/smoothing makes a big difference. Mine eats just about everything. Crappy wal mart ammo, and coller bone breaking high velocity slugs.

  6. Going to have to agree the jeep is a good choice. The giant lump of iron under the hood is good for many miles. I am a VW/Audi mechanic....well anything german and japanese. I would stay away from mark 4 and up TDI's. Mark 5 and 6 cars are just not impressing me at all. Look up 99 and new tdi intake clogging issues. Ive pulled intakes and found so much sludge built up in the intake you maybe could stick a sharpie into it. Im sure its all over google. Also, the variable vain turbos the mark 4 tdi's used sieze up. the vain partsi that control boost. You end up with no boost and having to buy a $800 to $1500 turbo, not to mention the labor costs. (keep buying them!! thats were I make my money!)

  7. Not sure what my first gun that I shot was...Im guessing a 10/22 ruger. But my first gun in my ownership happened only 1.5 years ago with a wedding gift from my best man. A XDm .45. Awesome gun! He got it for me for large hairy quadruped protection when my wife and I are on the 4 wheeler. After that, the wife wanted her own. She got an xd .40 subcompact...then not long after a Savage .17hmr. Beatiful gun. Then a ruger SR 22 pistol....then my saiga 12 after seeing one at the range not long ago. And now my wife wants her own SR 22 pistol.

So does this gun addiction calm down or go away at all?
