  1. MIdwest industries is the way to go and it is no 260.00 go to there site it's only 109.00 whoever told you 260.00 paid way to much. So for those looking for a great en- expensive micro red dot check out bushnells TRS-25 put it on my S-12 and it is awesome I'm goin to get another for my WASR and mount it to my Midwest industries side rail scope mount

It's $260 including the red dot optic. Thats the RS side mount and the Vortex red dot optic for $260.

Hmmm I didnt know you could buy it separately. Oh well I got the other one. Its seems solid but I havent shot it yet with it mounted. More info to come.

  2. Yeah I'm not real sure what you're point it. I'm not that other dude and quite honestly I dont know why you'd be pissed at me if I had a professional shop do my conversion. Looking at your content you seem to have a particular opinion on that subject but I didnt do anything to bother you so why break my balls about it? You rag on people who use Tromix or Lone Star or Red Jacket among dozens of others? Sheesh....lighten up man.

  3. I polished all my internals prior to shooting mine for the first time. I'm a strong polisher. Mine shot pretty good with a few FTE's on the low brass stuff. I put a DPH plug and CSS puck in mine and that solved the problem entirely. i had the ports looked at dxuring my conversion. None blocked. I didnt do anything else. It's shooting great now.

    Who did your conversion?

It was local gunsmith that does Saiga conversions. Im not gonna post here as I dont wanna violate business member terms of service. A friend of a friend actually knows the owner. I got to watch the progress in the shop. It was interesting to watch. Learned a lot.

Go ahead and post up who did the conversion

It's only against the rules to directly post a non vendor link.

Kind of strange that both you and BOB A BOOYE do a great unconverted polish job, but neither of you do your own conversion.

Both of you also use aftermarket pucks.

    Coincidence huh?

Yeah I'm not sure what your point. He's not the guy I used.

  5. And now you've learned that when you post about about paying someone else to convert your gun or buying one already converted what the responses will be. If you would prefer to buy one and have a professional convert it, its your money and your time, please feel free to do it. There is no shame in not feeling comfortable to do it yourself. There are a lot of business members on here that would be happy to assist you.

  7. Anyone know a good S12 gunsmith in OK?

    Thanks

    Ummm... What was that name...?

Tromix??? Yeah. I think Tromix might work on Saigas...

Yeah and he'll get his gun worked on sometime in 2017. Better off sending it to the moon....

Why o why wouldn't he use a drum? Plus I would figure anyone making a FA Saiga-12 would go through the trouble of tuning it to fire anything from any position. Not to say it's easy, but it has been done plenty of times before. It makes me cringe every time I hear him (anyone) say SEGA-12,ughhh. It is a name with a correct pronunciation. The video also show a great example of what a lax attitude towards safety will get you.

Is it suprising how particularly stupid this guy LOOKS? You Tube vanity run amuck I think.

  9. Might want to wait for the Molot Vepr12s to hit the shores. Our Russian members seem to like them better as the QC seems better. Having said that, no issues with mine (limited time to shoot it these days).

And when is that happening exactly?

  10. Well I finally did my conversion and I will probably post pics soon. It is a yankee legal convesion that I did and the gun was painted in FDE. Well I got a Bushnell TRS-25 I would like to mount. Yeah I would like an Aimpoint but this will do for now. Being stupid an used to my old 410 I ordered a UTG mount, but then realized wait a sec, where is my scope mount? Can't believe I never noticed the differences.

I was thinking of the CSS mount that replaces the rear sight but I am wondering if special tooling is needed.

What do you guys recommend for a good mount for the Bushnell TRS-25.

I'm not sure if I trust the zero of something mounted on the dust cover and I don't feel like the hassle of installing a side mount.

2 of my top rail options for around $70 seem to be sold out. I would like something not too expensive but easy to install.

    Thanks guys.

Why would you want an Aimpoint. The TRS-25 is perfect for the Saiga. Its not precision shooting afterall.

Installing a side mount is a hassle? It slides on and clasps tight. Takes like 20 seconds

  11. I made my own chest rig. I attached three barcode scanner pouches together, and rigged my harness. Holds six S12 stick mags, and 6 Pistol Mags. Will probably attach a pouch to hold my 20 round Drum on the right side. I can either attach the bottom to my Pant Belt using side release delrin buckles, or use another belt through the back of the rig to go around my waist.

Great job dude. Thats looks awesome.

  12. all i can say is why?

unless your in the military or law enforcement and use a saiga i cant see spending that kind of money and buying the mags to fill it just to run around your backyard playing solidier.

Jesus dude rough childhood? The only use I can see is for outdoor shooting where table spaces is limited or unwanted and you can loaded mags in a convenient carrier. I dont shoot outdoors enough where it justifies the expense

  13. Watch my other videos and tell me if you see anything else unsafe....and I'm not being a smart ass. One of the videos I'm in the prosses of putting together I'll add safety out-takes at the end. Again I'm not tryin to be a smart ass or anything.

Of all your videos, and OE's videos I've watched, I always figured you guys were friends making goofy, satirical propaganda. Now, after this thread, I finally see that you think what you're doing is cool and fun. My money goes on one of you being a statistic, someday.

No argument. Continue. I'll watch in awe, disdain and confusion.

BTW... WTF are you guys thinking?

No what we were doing with the OperatorERROR series was making fun and being satirical. When OE isn't in the video its just a plain ol shooting compilation video. When we do the OE videos we are not being serious. This video wasn't even a OE video really because he wasn't the focus.

and what do you mean "WTF are we thinking?".....we were trying to be funny but that video like I said wasn't really for laughs till the end obviously.

Yeah I can see the hilarity in making a video of an S12 that wont cycle. A laugh riot.

  14. Nothing in that video indicates you have any clue what you're doing. Shooting it upside down from your kneecaps helps you determine if the guns undergassed? Theres an infallable way, the FTE after FTE was pretty much a sign that things werent going well. Honestly it looks as though you were moving rapidly for the camera. It looks particularly reckless and kind of ignorant.

  15. Looks all right, but can we get a link? Or a brand name? That would help us out.

Weird, though. I've been thinking of how I was going to lug all this sweet ammo around all morning =D

I will but this guy is not a business member here so it may get deleted. Its sold by beezcombatsystems.com. About $70
