3D model, not sure how accurate this is... good reference, but I would reverse engineer it

Is there preventative measures that can be taken to avoid the possibility of this?

Take a lot of pics and post the before and after.

Does no one make aftermarket bolts?

Anyone have a recommended bag for drums?

Uhhh... Why do you need drawings of the bolt carrier to mount the receiver?
This is starting to seem a bit fishy... Next will come the select fire questions...
I was piggybacking off the blueprint request with my post regarding Bolt and Carrier. (nothing in relation to the tank project)
Mostly because I was thinking it would be nice to have a 3D model and 2D detail of an unprofiled bolt and then one profiled.
(I made the mistake of not reverse engineering mine before profiling and polishing.)
The bolt has hard edges, once modeled in 3D by removing material with variable fillets would give a good before and after and these models could be used to create dimensional drawings for a DIY'ers

For the front I went with the CSS version:

For the rear I used the base from here:
http://www.robertrtg.com/g3rearsight.html
I already had the rear sight so I didn't need to buy it but you could also get it from Robertrtg or the complete, ready to go, kit from CSS.

Does anyone know where to find drawings of the Bolt and Carrier?

Back on topic, I see the Froglube is touting their claim to fame as being a recommended "Biobased" product... Other than the Al Gore shit I hate, I have another thought...
...is this shit water soluble? If so... Count me out... I'm not planning to storm the castle in a monsoon, but you never know...

So, does this not work in hot climates too?
