I am thinking about getting the Doctor optic mount and use my Burris Fastfire(if it fits) red dot sight. Will this set up work? From what I was told the Galil charging handle might be in the way. Does anybody use this setup. I just received my 8" from Tony 2 weeks ago-same set up. The galil charging handle may interfere unless you mount it in the dovetail for the old rear sight. I put an AK side mount on mine w/a low profile holosight-clears the handle, can use the HK sights(view under the mount or use the holosight.
