Bruse 0
I've been shooting my S-12 for a few weeks now and I'm looking to clean the gas piston or swap it out for a Tromix piston.Does anyone have some pics to make the removal/replacement easier? Thanks

Thanks Make sure its unloaded then field strip your weapon, Receiver cover recoil spring and bolt carrier. Then unscrew your 2 setting plug and it should come out towards the muzzle end. Sometimes use a wooden dowel from the receiver end to push it out.

kresk 10,063
Yeah, don't be afraid to whack the dowel with a hammer a few times if the piston is being stubborn about coming out.
